He's their most reliable for the last couple of months or so and he's had some great games...but I think that after last season, they made the move for Iguodala and built the roster with the idea that Ty would be the leader and the team looks incredible when he's hot. I don't think the team will go as far as Gallo takes them (though he'll be a key contributor), I think they'll go as far as Ty Lawson takes them because he's in a position to be the engine.

Sadly i agree with that statement not because Ty is the teams best player but because he has the ball in his hands the most and because he is so horrible on defense. Ty is the weak link of defense and a reluctant passer. It is a shame because he was better in the past. He has to be substituted as well as Miller on defense late in games because they are that bad on defense.

:lol this doofus said the Knicks have more talent than Denver, but brags about how Denver has a similar record to NY yet they play in the tougher West.

All he can say is 1-8! 1-8! Yet he blatantly disregards the FACT Melo was playing with two handicapped playoff teams aafainst two fully healthy elite teams.

Gallo is a decent player far from the projected star status.

Name calling means you win the debate. Great job!

Actually the Knicks record in the season of the trade was better with Gallo then with Melo. Your spin of a 1-8 playoff record is a fail.

not talking bout reg season, talking bout PO appearances

how many did PO appearances did gallo lead ny to?

Guys, let's cut the insults. Disagree with him and that's fine, but name calling isn't necessary.

Anyone that has to resort to personal insults when faced with facts is the actual loser.

Playoff appeances as Knicks
Tony Douglas 1
Gallo 0
Tony Douglas > Gallo. Are those not facts? Omg this kid is too easy.

NBA Rings

Steve Kerr 5
Melo 0

Your logic is a fail.

More Gallo facts.

Number of times Gallo shot over 44 percent from the field with 10 attempts or greater = 0
Number of times the great passer Gallo averaged 3 assist per game = 0
Number of times the 6'10 Gallo averaged over 7 rbs a game = 0
Number of playoff series wins = 0

Man there are a lot of 0s there.
Wow these FACTS don't back up Gallodaman's claims. hmm...

Can't believe guys are STILL comparing NY and Denver. It has become ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. The Nuggets drafted Faireed and traded Afflalo for Iggy. They are a well managed, good team period. Every conclusion you draw from a Denver/Ny comparison today is completely subjective and your imagination. It's stupid.

The Knicks were in the playoffs standings wise when Gallo was traded but technically he played in 0 playoffs for the Knicks just like Lee and Zach both of who showed their worth when they left and are all stars again. Gallo will be in his 3rd straight playoffs as a Nugget this saeson.

Gallos has been in the playoffs twice and is only 24. How many playoff series wins does Melo have? 8?

Gallo!
Lin!

With your powers combined I am an overrated player!

Gallo and Lin, they're our hero.
Gonna make every1 else down to zero.

All I could do. Lin and Gallo are both solid players, don't think I'll ever consider Gallo an all star. Lin has a chance due to popularity and if he improves.

Knicks, Giants, Yankees, Rangers
