3/12 doesn't do much for you. Considering Harden was out, this wasn't a great night for Lin. Makes you wonder about the entire Harden is holding him back theory.

4/12. 14 pts. 7 assists. Not bad. Not great. Not really a whole lot to talk about either way but I was hoping for 10 or so assists.

And it ain't my theory so don't ask me. He'd probably average bigger numbers with no Harden just because, you know, Harden averages a lot of points and assists and stuff and they'd have to go somewhere, innit? But the idea that Harden's doing this to the detriment of the team is a bit silly.

I think the ppg is pretty much a done deal, but the assist and FG% would be tough for you to get.

Enjoy the ASG break. Lin has a very tough stretch coming after it.

Jonathan Feigen ‏@Jonathan_Feigen
Lin getting x-rays on his right hand. It's a precaution, but still sore after hard fall on drive in first half.

It may affect his shooting later in the game. The Clippers fouled him like crazy.

This is just a small example.

Rockets have one of the easiest schedule for the rest of the season. His numbers would most likely go up.

It is actually the coaches fault for Lin's mediocre performance. McHale still making Lin run up with the ball, pass to Parsons or some other guard/forward and run to the elbow of the 3 point line. Seems like the coach hasnt adjusted to Harden being out at all. I always thought Dantoni was a horrible coach, but this guy takes the cake - hall of famer or not, the guy has no coaching abilities. Then yelling at Lin for 1 turnover in the first half? Harden turns over the ball a lot more than Lin this season, but never gets yelled at.

That explains a lot. Lin's is a good player, but not good enough for an organization to plot a course around his limited skill set. It would be similar to Minny adjusting for Luke Ridnour. Not gonna happen.

He said he went to kick the ball? Does that make it better?

****. I was only statwatching. That's a particularly dirty play. I'd give it a game suspension. Seriously. Who winds up and kicks a dude as they're falling?

Commentator said he pushed and kicked out of frustration because he got the ball stealed by Lin(it's a fast break).

Although I think what Odom did was worse. He fouled Lin first by pushed him to the ground.

Hard to say whether it's intentional.

Hollins stepped on Lin's ankle and wrist earlier in the game though.

Well I guess after this he will be 15% from the minimum pain threshold to play but unlike last season he will.

14pts on 4-12 shooting 7 assts with 4 Tos without Harden. This is actually what I had expected him to be around if they had never gotten Harden. Mid teens with bad fg% and high assists with equally high Tos.

we can agree disagree on a player potential

but intentionally trying to hurt any player is not cool and should not be tolerated

Money aside, I'd rather have Lin than Felton on this team.

Our two strengths are not turning the ball over and the 3pt shoot. Lin would make us worse in both.

Why would you rather have him on our team?

I don't think they tried to intentionally hurt him. If they wanted to they could.

This is not the 80s pistons here. It is just some hard fouls that actually I welcome because the nba has become sissified in protecting its stars. Seriously none of these fouls are anywhere near what Oak would do to people. Did you not approve of Oak's methods either?
