Getting KP to the playoffs this year would be HUGE if it could actually happen, both for his sake but also for the Knicks as a destination.
You could keep Melo and do the same damn thing.
KP/Willy
Melo/Thomas
Lee/Kuz-Dotson
Hardaway/Baker
Rondo/Frank
Thought u wanted melo gone ?

From a Cavs perspective or just in general?

I am giving you facts about his OWN WORDS and his OWN ACTIONS and you're telling me that I don't know what he wanted? I'm not anti Melo. I'm anti false narrative. I'm anti fake news. I'm anti alternative facts mentality.
The guy wanted to sign the max before the CBA expired and he wanted out of Denver. He didn't only want the Knicks.
Like I said in my OP...we can give him credit for what he deserves credit for. We should be able to agree that, while he did gut the team, he's not the reason they couldn't build around him. We can show that he didn't want to play in the system of the team he just asked for a trade to. That was supposed to be put together for MDA. So the team backed Melo and that HC quit. How's that for helping the team build around you? Yes...MDA should have made it work. SSOL with an ISO player. One who isn't willing to change his game.
Hell...the more I look at this. **** MELO! I defended him for years and I defended that trade...that I didn't want. Now...discussing these chain of events. HE was a big part of the team struggling to build around him.
Get him out of here and move on.
You're not giving me facts or you could provide me with a link or something FROM MELO'S OWN MOUTH, and that's very important that it's from MELO'S OWN MOUTH and not someone close to Melo that's supposedly talking for him cause if you can't give me that then what you're saying isn't a fcat. Melo wanted to be a New York Knick but the talks went on too long and they wanted to get things going so they used that he would sign with Brooklyn to scare the Knicks into giving up the farm for him which they did.
you a little too excited about melo's own mouth

Blow me. I said it was AN IDEA - I didnt say it was from any source. I already said dont count on me as a source. F*ck off dork
P.S. Harkless, a 1st and a 2nd for a ten time allstar and a flex guard who plays good D and is coming off the best season of his career on a good contract ... a kings ransom?
Wow... stay classy bud! Two days ago you claimed that your "sources" said that Brooklyn is being included in the deal....I'm not basing this off of nothing. I think you just got yourself banned tho bud all because you can't handle someone disagreeing with you.
And yes, that package is wayyyyy more than what Indy and Chicago got for better players. Sorry but, PG>Melo J.Butler>Melo
You didn't simply disagree with me, you were a d*ck so I responded accordingly. Now, like I just said - When I said that stuff about Brookyln I cited a source. I was just (FOR FUN) coming up with a trade while I took a sh*t and it seemed to be pretty even so I posted it. That's all.. "Just an idea"
As for the Melo, Butler & PG situation - You ever hear of supply and demand?? You pay less for 1 all star when 3 are available. You pay more for 1 when there is 1 available. Again, it is not a huge haul for the simple fact that C.LEE is included and is a valuable asset.

You said "my sources" the other day so excuse me.... and when did C.Lee become a valuable asset![]()

....and supply and demand went out the window with Melo's no trade clause.
I didn't say my sources this time. So how is that relevant?
C.Lee is a valuable asset coming off the bench for a contender. I won't explain why, you should know.
Supply and demand clearly did not go out the window with Melo's clause considering there is still demand. Cavs & Hou both still in the mix.

Wouldn't be surprised if this was one of the GM throwing this out there to pressure us. Hopefully Mills doesn't crack
