Yes please, and we hope that the change of scene can help DSJr too although I don't really rate him before.

But Frank and the anti-Frank, oh my that's going to be annihilation and the Knicks universe may explode. :D

KP might come back and re-ignite that chemistry too.
This made me laugh. What a difference a few days make, huh?

Does the anti Frank Mudiay faction align with DSJr, or do they continue to back Mudiay, sort of like he's a presidential candidate running as an independant?

Asking for some friends.

I'm all in on DSJ over Mudiay

Everything Moody is, Dennis is a little bit better. Plus, he's under contract.

Perry might go:
DSJr/Mudiay

and send Frank packing in a trade.

That's what I think.

Would you like me to keep saying it? :D

I'd rather see combinations of DSJr and Frank, at least for 20 minutes a game, while Trier and Dotson and Matthews (?) rotate in and out. I think the FO really likes Mudiay though. I hope they don't choose him over Frank.

Frank would at least be good as that jack of all trades 1-3 that would fit with scoring FA's like Kyrie, Durant etc off the bench, even if DSJr is still on the team with them.

I'd like to see that too, just as I would like to see Mud/Frank. Fiz has been opposed to doing that so far.

Maybe with Timmy gone, we'll finally see that

That phrase. It's so musical. With all the discussion about the trade, I almost forget.

I'm going to watch some of the game just to enjoy that fact. :D

Even with the trade for DSJ, still see minutes opening up for Frank just by THJ, Burke and even Lee to a lesser degree going out.

It's basically 96 minutes to be split for

Frank
DSJr
Mudiay (expiring)
Allen (two way)
Trier
Dotson

Though Frank is a blockade in front of tank, he should still 20-25 minutes just because and for his development.

They’re going to run a lot of 3 guard sets. Hopefully the Frank DSJ Dotson trio gets at least 20 mpg. Preferably with Knox and Mitch

i think we’d all like to see Dsj and frank play together but is it a viable pairing when both have been poor outside shooters? If you pack the paint dsj is going to be next to useless.

What alternatives do we have?

Just Dot basically, since Trier ball dominant

Frank will be great next to the superstars. Trade Westbrick II instead.

I must have missed saying it this time, but I usually say "this pairing won't work unless Frank gets a jumper"

and

This pairing is sort of silly if it's only going to be Frank standing in the corner while DSJr runs the offense/goes 1:1 - which is running a "Fiz" offense.

Then I have to point out that since DSJr is more creative, drives better and isn't terrible passing, of course he'll be "the PG" at least 1/2 the time, just it would make sense to have him off the ball too, just for different looks, and Frank's development - for this year, because, why not, tanking. Yes, some people point out he's not great off the ball, but same way Frank needs work, work on that for DSJr.

Then I remind myself Fiz is the coach, so the two of them aren't sharing PG duties, so play Trier or Dot or whatever.

there's no upside in trade Frank right now... his contract is extremely team friendly especially if another teams sees the potential..no chance he's moved this deadline.
BAF Suns

Chris Paul / Patrick Beverley / Shamorie Ponds
Buddy Hield / Timothy Luwawu / Stanley Johnson
Kendrick Nunn / Matisse Thybulle / Darius Miller
RJ Barrett / Kyle Kuzma / Dwayne Bacon
DeAndre Jordan / Kenrich Williams / DJ Wilson
