This may have been asked but would anyone do Smith Jr. for Phoenix’s #6?

I think Morant getting the surgery all but guarantees he's going to Memphis

I would hesitate only if Kemba and Irving dont come and Garland is not avaliable at 6.

With the obvious implied exception of 3THM.

I find it hard to believe Naz isn’t being talked about much in this draft. I see him mocked in the late 30’s and 40’s. Everybody wants that rip and run big guy. And he can shoot. He’s extremely light on his feet and has great vision and feel offensively. His body fat % was terrible but he did lose a ton of weight coming into school which kinda effected his game, I think. He’s still getting used to playing at this new weight. And he’s still learning/developing. If we could somehow get our hands on either he or Jontay Porter late (I’m sure not 55 late), I think they’d be fantastic rotation compliments to Mitch. And you know Fiz would be all over him to get his conditioning right. And he’s a Jersey kid.

Edit: just watched til the end and seen the injury.
Damn. The Sixers and their voodoo. I guess he’s on their radar now.

I'd rather have Garland or White than Smith so not sure why Phx would do it, they aren't trading #6 for him but if they did then Perry needs to jump on that quick.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I’d rather the he was sluggish and disinterested fake news report so the whole damn world doesn’t know how bad we want him and we don’t get Curry’d somehow lol.

100% yes.

Why are we so quick to give up on DSJ. He showed he can play in the nba. Dropped 30 his first week as a Knick. Why would you trade a player like that on a rookie contract for unproven talent?

Hellllllll naw. DSJ has much higher upside than players like Culver and Hunter.

Yeah i'm higher on Dennis than anyone at 6 in this draft. With that said i believe there would be some salary relief there so that could be an extra motivation to move him if the Suns were amicable

I so don’t see it with Coby White.
His game just seems very headless chicken.
I’ve seen some Jamal Murray or Agent Zero comparisons...what?! Gil was a BIG TIME.
And Jamal is on his way.

What am I missing with Coby?

I’m not trading DSJ for Coby White.
We could have a conversation about Garland maybe but I don’t see it with the kid. Why can’t DSJ become Kevin Johnson? Why is it if a player isn’t this perfect archetype that we just discard them? Dudes that can’t even drink yet or haven’t had the best situation to flourish...
Dennis Smith has a lot of talent. He has the tools to become a good point guard. Eric Bledsoe? He’s not Steve Nash but sheet, have y’all been watching what we’ve trotted out at pg the last 30 years? Coach him up. Fiz got him working on his body, that’s a great start. He’s on a team he wanted to be on. He’s knows what the opportunity here is and I’m sure he hears the whispers.
He’s on a rookie scale deal, let’s see what we have in him. If it’s for a no brainer upgrade and make sense financially and other wise, fine but Coby White?

If KD don’t come...
Mitch
Knox
RJ
Dot/Trier
DSJ

Is a super athletic and intriguing young core.
And DSJ had really good chemistry with Dot fwiw.
