Donovan Mitchell missed two last minute shots to keep the Cavs in the game. I guess we can cross him off the list too

He was 4-18. My guess is he’d be a foolish add.

Me watching embiid
“This mf would be mid in the 90s”
“Wtf this guy has the biggest impact defensively without even being in the plays “
“He’s on the floor again”
“Mf wants to shoot jumpers all day against 6’6 guys defending him”
“When u show help vs this mf the ppp has to be 1.5”
“Mf fell down again bc a 6’2 guard touched him”
It’s probably why his teams always flame out in the playoffs. It just be nice if they called the games the same way all year long

It's mostly because he gets hurt right before or during the playoffs and comes back out of shape. He still gets to the line in the playoffs, but I think the only healthy year he's had in them was the bubble year and Simmons was out for the playoffs. He got to the line 15 times a game that year in the playoffs

I had no idea. They’re a bunch of players that live in the paint and don’t get the amount of free throws he does.

donavon is a shooter through and through when he has bad games, he'll likely go really bad. that being said, he's more good than bad

Kiddey has some really excellent court vision but the rest of his game is kind of ass. He's like a taller Ricky Rubio type hooper without the defensive chops.

Embiid is a great player, but his foul baiting is just boring basketball. Dudes the size of a truck and flails about every time he gets touched

They’re pretty similar except in one important aspect.
Look at Mitchell’s playoff numbers. I thought the Knicks were playing really well defensively, but this type of playoff failure actually might be a pattern with Mitchell. Like when he lost against Dallas, who were not the paragon of defensive intensity, his numbers were abysmal.
On the other hand, Brunson’s game just works in the playoffs. We lost to Miami but he looked really good. When he was destroying Cleveland, he was consistently taking on whoever they stuck in front of him, and just daggering them.

So, it's one thing for us to make mocking posts putting down Giddy on what he did, but that's pretty damn tone deaf by a professional organization.
I'd assume the tech nerd bro who runs twitter for them is seeking new employment.

I'm actually shocked that the tweet is still up, especially if you read the replies

honestly, OKC PR should have never even let the guy speak to the media the other day either, regardless of innocence or guilt. Not sure what's going on down there.

I would bet these are the exact words Doncic used earlier that game, urging teammates to attack Westbrook when they get the ball.

Re: Around The NBA - Regular Season version (Harden traded...now what?)
BTW one interesting thought I had the other day about the rumored offseason PG sweepstakes: The Clippers supposedly asked for RJ + Grimes + 3 FRPs and the Knicks declined. It is actually interesting to note that the Clippers would rather add two SGs, neither of whom is an all-star, in a position where they already have plenty of players (Mann, Westbrook, Powell etc.) while not asking for Randle who came off an all-star season and plays a position of need.
Just let that sink in. The Clippers could have gone with a Leonard-Randle-Zubac frontcourt....creating a much more balanced roster but instead chose to go for RJ and Grimes and picks. It really tells you something about Randle's value across the league.....

Westbrook actually attacked Luka 4 times in a row and then Luka got benched
