It's even better to have the 2nd best center in the league and the best in the East. We completely swindled them getting KAT for two role players.

Seems like they’re doing alright, 6-1 and the best defensive team in the league in that stretch. Win win for both sides!

They were 20-6 this time last year, the drop off from having such a versatile player, efficient and likable player like KAT to what they have now is profound. We won that trade by a landslide, truly a blessed year.

calling divo a roleplayer is a stretch at this point.

Donte is just back to being the inconsistent player he was before he got here, they dumped him at the right time.

yeah, I enjoyed his time here. but he was playing at (or beyond) peak level here.

We won the trade clearly (so far.)
Very curious what we’d be like with Isiah Hartenstein. I think MUCH better and have our defensive identity.KAT would be less imo but we’d be better and have more defense and a better bench.

For all his talent as a creator, Banchero's a pretty mediocre defender, and a fairly inefficient high-volume scorer at this stage. Whereas Franz is an elite defender and a moderately efficient scorer.

It's not a knock against Paolo - he's young and he has a high ceiling. But there's no doubt Franz is better currently. The Magic's play without Paolo is reflective of this.

franz was one of their worst players in the playoffs. You can’t be the best player on a team if you choke when it really matters. And we blew out Orlando by 30 with just franz

you typing this and hitting send when randle puts up belus smawley stat lines in the playoffs is diabolical, homie.

We were 11-1 with our core at full strength last season and we have a big drop off at 16-10 which is very similar to our team record with that toxic non stat padding loser RJ. Looks like we're back to the treadmill!

We were 12-2 for the month of January, Randle had the 7th best net rating on the team that month, just like with the Wolves his backup had a better net rating. What a robbery, straight ski mask for Leon.

Sorry man, only interested in team success over individual net ratings! 11-1 > 16-10

But team success has nothing to do with Randle, outside of his backup helping more.

Anyone playing with Brunson and OG had a high net rating, which is why Precious is above Randle because he was both the backup C and PF at times and got to play with them. Randle was just along for the ride, just like how he's just along for the ride this year since Naz has a much higher net rating, and a higher net rating in that 6-1 stretch you're talking about. Leon robbed the Wolves.

12-2 according to NBA.com 8-)

But either way we see Randle was 7th in Net rating during that time, the 7th guy on the Cavs in net rating is Sam Merrill. Good to know Randle impacts winning the same way Merrill does, he's 6th this year on the Wolves, you'd expect a starter to be top 5 but that's not part of the Randle experience. I'm glad we have KAT, he's the number 1 starter in net rating on our team and 3rd overall, in 5 years Randle was never once top 5 in net rating with us. It's like we broke into Fort Knox and traded an egg roll for a gold bar.

Rather be 11-1 and be a championship contender than go to the Knicks level where we had RJ and was a treadmill but I guess it is what it is! Nice to see Randle carry his winning impact to Minny and be 6-1 with the best defensive rating in the league. Must be nice!
