It was a team loss but Denver really got blown out in the Westbrook minutes.

-34 in 22 minutes.

It's something to watch for if we make it to the Finals, because OKC left Denver's non shooter wide open so they could crowd their best player and completely obstruct the paint.

It sucks seeing westbrook not be effective anymore cause he is a solid dude and would like to see him win.

westbrook at one point might have been my favorite player to watch but there's a reason he's on a different team every year now. this has gone on long enough. i have no idea how people are still falling for this.

Explain how you were able to be Knicks fan from 2001-2021 since they mostly lost during that period. Even though my expectations of them become higher every season, I am not going to lose sleep if they do not win an NBA title this season because like I mentioned I did not expect them to even be in the conference finals.

When the Knicks weren't competitive I coped by finding hope in young players and guys we drafted....imagining we could sign big name FA's, win the draft lotto, or pull off a trade for a star...

I didn't find joy by rooting another team....but that's just me.

The consensus from nearly all NBA circles were that the Knicks were contenders after the KAT trade. It is the Most talented Knicks roster in decades. For months I called for Leon to make the KAT trade, saying it would get us past the Celtics. He pulled it off and here we are...so obviously I am not at all surprised. The Talent has been here all-season. Elite roster.....but the coaching simply hasn't been elite.

Being a Knicks fan is an emotional warfare. When they lose, it can ruin anyone's night. But I think everyone processes it differently.

From 2001–2021, we were mostly irrelevant, but I stayed loyal because deep down I believed we’d eventually get it right. I didn’t jump ship or root for other teams either, I just clung to any spark of hope, whether it was a promising rookie, a good draft position, or the fantasy of landing a superstar. For me, it was about the journey, not just the wins.

Now that we finally have a squad that should compete, I totally understand being frustrated if things don’t go as planned. But personally, I’ve learned to appreciate the progress. We went from bottom-feeders to a team that is in the ECF. That matters a great deal.

So while I’m hungry for a title, I’m also trying not to let every loss wreck my peace. Doesn’t mean I care less, it just means I’m trying to keep my sanity intact.

I respect that.

Nevertheless...there's no solace in Obi Toppin beating us because he's an ex-Knick.

Yet Giddey was all it took for the Bulls to bite? He was awful for OKC. Can you say the same thing if Grimes had a respectable half-season?

Im an unabashed starpucker but im gonna go on record and say hard pass on giannis.

His game is not going to age well and I dont think he compliments Brunson well. Let him go out west or rot with the nyets. We're good.

There are very few I would trade for the top 4 of this team but if Giannis somehow tried to push his way here, I am trading KAT and McBrides matching salary in a sec. Its Giannis and he is an absolutely elite 2 way big who can guard 2-5 on switches. It would make our switch defense elite.

Defense yes but what about spacing?

What you gain in all Giannis does is still better than KAT. I love KAT but I also don’t let my biases blind me wither. Giannis is a clear cut top 5 NBA player.

but he didn't. and the only reason he did on philly was because they were tanking so he had the ball to do whatever he wanted.

and the bulls probably liked giddey for whatever reason. they're not the best decision makers. they should have wanted picks instead of either of them.
