In theory it does or very close to it. Since both are over 1st apron they would likely need a third team involved for CBA purposes but White is 28M next year and Bridges is 24.9. You could add something like Dadiet at 2.8 and it makes it close enough to work.

Why would Celts do it though . It all depends on their perspective. They look like they are doing a firesale . I mean they are even willing to shed Brown. They may have a totally different roster construction in mind with Tatum being the only piece they keep. Would getting back an expiring Bridges be worth it to them or do they want expiring contracts and picks? They probably want picks I would imagine. Plus they probably don't want to do business with us unless we overpay.

The new CBA is no doubt affecting/changing the way teams are going to build their rosters financially.

Lololol many of the big reporters said this may be one of the craziest offseasons in memory. If Giannis is moved along with what happened so far and a couple other things, it'll be up there.

Hopefully the Knicks improve the roster. Im all for keeping mostly everyone too if at minimum we fortify the rim protection defense in the frontcourt around KAT with something more reliable than Mitch.

Knicks could be trying to maximize Josh's value and trade him for two quality role players, or for a player who is not afraid to shoot the ball.

Here are different packages that work. I AM NOT SAYING ANY OF THEM ARE GOOD. Just saying that they worked on the spotrac trade machine and I tried to pick ones that might make sense, even ones we would not like.

I’m open to trading Josh but these trade packages make me sad. The Dallas one would probably be the least terrible of the options.
