Lot's of really great pieces, but, like most rosters, a few holes. Fisher and Dragic are polar opposites, so what kind of an offense would you run? Also, I believe you are going to have a strong lack of interior scoring. Who is your go-to guy? Gallo? He's a bit unproven for that. Great perimeter team, with GREAT defense.

Future: 8/10
People will look at your roster and see Brand and Fisher and think of how old and slow your squad is. knicksfan5494 thinks otherwise. The next oldest player is I believe Horford, who is extremely young himself. Great young pieces moving forward... Allen, Childress, Gallo, Horford, RoLo, Harden, Dragic... I like.

Cap Management: 7/10
The addition of Elton Brand is what turned me off to your team at a salary-management standpoint. Other than that, small/rookie contracts. Nothing to complain about.

Total: 22/30 = 73% = C.

I see everybody was turned off by the Brand selection, and I knew it wasn't going to be the popular decision...hell, I didn't even want to select him. I had a deal in the works for Dejuan Blair that fell through, as well as a debate between he and Kenyon Martin (who has a much cap friendlier expiring...but isn't the same fit for Pop's system).

You said yourself that you believe a weakness in my roster is a lack of interior scoring...which is much of the reason I went with Brand. He's got an actual back to the basket game and can play off the Pick n Roll / Pick n Pop. Brand is a much better fit on this roster then many give him credit for...and believe me, I'm no fan of Brand.

I don't mind Brand as a player -- he's actually a very good one -- but his contract is beyond ugly.

hey moocow your post should say the bulls and not the clippers. also, if mugzi gets skipped again that might be the 4th or 5th time. it sucks because he's the defending eastern conference champ, but he obviously hasn't been as involved this time around.
