We're 3 games ahead of them in the loss column.

Even if we play .500 the rest of the way, we should win the division.

Reggie Evans having a career night against Lamarcus Aldridge is reason why any fan in this forum who wants him on the Knicks needs a good slap in the face. Brooklyn can and will give Miami fits in the playoffs in the second round.

The Knicks should be worried that the Bulls even without Rose can beat them handily. Tonight was a perfect example where the Bulls came out pumped.

Based off what? The Nets will get swept or taken out in 5 games by the Heat. If you watched the games between the two teams when they played each other this season, the Heat are just a horrible match up for them. While size is one key to beating Miami, Brook Lopez doesn't play physical enough. He can alter and block shots at times, but I would exactly call him an intimidating defensive presence. Miami is going to force Brooklyn into committing a lot of turnovers and they're going to feast off it in transition.

IMO there are only two teams that can at least give the Heat a run for their money. That's the Pacers and the Knicks.

I don't think the Bulls(despite their 2 wins verse the Heat this year) can seriously push Miami without Rose. Hell, the Heat beat Chicago in 5 games with a healthy MVP Rose a couple of years ago, and that team was stronger than this current squad.

And I also think the Knicks can take the Bulls in a 7 game series if we ever faced them. It's going to be tough, but I can see us getting past them. K-Mart should help a lot against their physical front line. Also, we all saw what happened to Chicago in last year's playoffs once Rose got injured. Their regular season success simply didn't translate in the playoffs because they lacked a true scorer and closer.

LOL. Based on one game? What about the other 70 games? I
The Bulls are not a likely opponent based on the current standings, but if somehow we were to play the Bulls in the first round, the Knicks would have no problem with them. Yes, they played well last night, but they don't regularly score 101 points and their defense sucked. All of Lebron, Wade and Bosh got the shots they wanted.

Brooklyn seems to be handling their road trip pretty well, but when I watch them I just don't see cohesion, like their pieces aren't quite comfortable together.

Except by an injured, Rose-less Bulls team... lol!

No regular season record, no winning streak record, no titles record etc.

I told you this team wasn't unbeatable and that was proven last night. I can't prove it but I'm also right that they're not the best team ever either. You're smoking something if you not only think they'd beat Jordan and co. but especially Shaq/Kobe. I'm flat out telling you, Shaq would have averaged 30-15 easy if not 40-20 against this Miami team. Who would stop him? Quite frankly, there are a number of teams out there with hall of game big men that would take it to this Miami team. Fortunately for Miami, none of those guys exist except what, Duncan and KG? They're way past their prime. I would love to see these guys stop Hawkeem, a prime Duncan or whoever. A legit big man would take it to these guys. I would take Duncan/Parker/Manu in their prime over these guys head to head. If the Thunder weren't screwed by a new rule that forced them to give up Harden, Thunder would have been a much better team than Miami for years to come. Miami only beat them last year because Durant, Harden, Westbrook and Ibaka were all just 23 years old. That's just one year removed from college if you play all 4 years. They would have grown to be a much much better team.

This Miami team is great but best ever? You're out of your mind. Maybe top 10. They play in a weak conference and have far and away the best player in the world playing at the moment. Lebron was winning 60 games in Cleveland without Wade and Bosh. What you meant to say was Lebron is the greatest player in the world and would carry any team.

Seriously... if Miami wins out going 11-0, that's 67 wins. Lebron won friggin 66 games in Cleveland. Greatest team ever?? Unbeatable?? Smh. They might not even finish with a better record than Lebron had in Cleveland lol! They might not even win a championship either. I'd take the Clippers and Griz in a 7 game series with their bigs.

They just beat the Pacers too.

FDR beyond underrates the Bulls and Pharm beyond overrates the Heat.

It's absurd.

They are a 39-31 team. We're a 44-26 team. The standings don't lie. We're the better team. That's all I care about.

If standings don't lie, there's no point in having the playoffs. Just give the championship to Miami.

And this past swing has been our only good game? That can be argued both ways. Odd that you rarely ever argue the other way.

Just had a great chat with @hoopscritic talking NBA. Brian says the Bulls don't believe they are a championship team and will keep Rose out.

This was obvious to me from the moves they made in the offseason.

I don't think they ever intended Rose to play this season

matter of fact i wouldn't be shocked if bulls management is upset because they assumed they'd get a lottery pick this season

They definitely did. They were stupid enough to think it's possible with Thibodeau coaching.

Miami vs the Bulls would be an interesting 2nd round matchup if it goes down like that.

If I was the Bulls, I would def hold Rose out this year. Throwing him in the mix late while he is still trying to get up to speed might ruin there chemistry and there's too much to lose if he reinjures himself.

Not sure why it's odd. I don't much like the team the Knicks have, as I've said many times. I don't think they're very good, I don't like a number of the players, and I don't think they'll do very well in the playoffs.

The team to fear are the Nets. They look like such an unstoppable force and when they are clicking they are an elite team.

Why? Because they beat a sleepwalking Portland team last night? The Nets for all their offense aren't a physical team or an extremely quick team that can shoot. Those are the two types of teams that have given the Knicks problems this season (see Bulls, Pacers, Rockets, Nuggets games). Physical is Chicago, Indiana and (probably) Boston (though Boston looks like they are finally on their last gasps). There are no real extremely quick, good shooting teams in the East (the Nets are a half court team and don't shoot real well as a team, the Hawks don't really have the weapons or the speed to be a great problem, the Bucks don't have anything enough and is only in the playoffs cause there's no better choice). And you have to add in Miami because, let's be honest, they still are the best team in the East. So the teams to fear, if there are any such teams (and let's hope the Knicks players and coaches don't feel that way) are still the Heat, Bulls, Pacers...and maybe Boston.
