Theres nothing to jinx.

Ohio will be an easy Trump win.

He won it by 8 points last time a d he was 2 points ahead in 2020 of where was going into Election day in 2016.

Easy win.

People used to vote based on the name on the back of the jersey. Now they just vote based on the color of the jersey.

And I'm arguing with someone about how many moderate Dems we should trot out against McConnell. This is the 4th election that we trot out a damn moderate. I was hoping for Charles Booker but it is what it is.

Of course they are.

It took me a year to process it, as I was never against everything that conservatives or republicans stood for, but it took me a year to realize Trump is what the Republicans BECAME (and to a large extent, always were), not that they "hitched their boat to him"

I mean, sure, there is some craven power seeking for the sake of power seeking. It's politics, after all.

But it took me a while to get that the small parts of republicanism that I admired were NOT the main attraction for most of it's followers.

What Trump sells is.

Charles Booker would have gotten his assed kicked too. Partisanship is too strong in a state like Kentucky. Wondering how the hell Bashear won?

Bashear is a legacy governor. Look at Kentucky in 2018, everyone Republican won their seat except for Bashear.

Progressive Booker would've done much better than the self-proclaimed "Trump Democrat." And this is why the DNC is fcked up. That's all.
