Yup! He'll sit on the sideline looking for a job this whole season and the sim will keep him in the game ala Faried and he'll keep his rating!

Or he signs long-term overseas and they pull him out of the game in which case I get a huge exempt list pickup in free agency!

Last year, I projected the NBA and they screwed me over with Jimmy and I had expected Hayward's numbers to rebound and expected big things for Powell after KL and Green left and the sim gave me absolutely no love. This year, I'm trying the approach of projecting the sim. See if that works better. If not, we'll go to plan C next year.

On the bright side everyone I’ve seen is a 3 star on my team which based off what I’ve seen seems pretty solid... I guess

Don't worry I let a 4 star lowry and vuc walk, a 3.5 star FVV walk, and a 3 star bogs walk..and I have yet to find out what siakam amd fournier got..

You already know what it is. You've broken it down for everyone before. Bigs with high FG%, who rebound and shotblock are gonna get rated as two-way players with a heavily weighted OVR rating.

Same thing happened with Thomas Bryant (cuz he averaged 1 blk per game IRL along with efficiency and boards). Same thing also happened with Tristan Thompson. Both netted very good 3-star ratings even though they top out as role playing 3rd rotational bigs

Whiteside scores more, rebounds more, and shotblocks at a league leading level so the SIM rates him as a superstar big.
