I'm a "meh" for the Lakers. Not sure if the Rui move does anything for them, considering where they're at.

It seems OG is closer to Rui in value than to DMitch or am I missing something?

3 2nds? Aller does that and the entire forum says he's a joke. Interesting.

Even with the Laker discount in mind he wasn't getting an unprotected first let alone multiple ones that the Raptors and their delusional fan base believe OG is worth. Yes, OG is a better player than Rui but he's not getting a star haul if he's at most the 3rd best player on a middling play in team below .500.

3 2nd and Deuce Mcbride(Nunn's rough equivalent) for a top ten pick starter a joke? That's a steal for us.

OG...yeah the Raptors were trying to take advantage of the Ainge effect. I'm pretty sure its warn off by now.

Yep. There's nothing to be gained testing a former NFL TE who is lifting 400lbs in his 50s who grew up like he did.

He apologized though, which is cool.

OG ain't worth the price being asked. Masai is an ass hole just like Danny Ainge is.

It is but also sad that this is what the modern day game is.

They threw all the rules out the window to accommodate some highlight reel plays on Sportscenter.

I also think that’s quite a high price. The Lakers are desperate. We should be talking to them about Fournier.

Without it being a "screw RJ or screw Randle" post, IF the Knicks were to decide to part with 2 picks and a player for OG, AND that was enough to get it done, who would you trade and what lineup would you run out there?

Oh, it's also ok to speculate that it would take 3 picks and a salary filler player.

I'll go first.

Mavs 23/Knicks 25/Bucks 25, no protection on the Knicks pick + Fournier (slight salary relief, speaks French) for OG Anunoby

So, it's either Grimes or RJ to the bench.
I say RJ.

Brunson/IQ
Grimes/RJ
OG/RJ
Randle/Obi or OG
Mitch/iShart

That's the 9 man rotation

Knicks retain a pick in 23
Knicks likely have 2 picks in 24 (Own/Washington)
Knicks no pick in '25 - don't like this or any stepien implications for other trades but it is what it is

Knicks could still deal Cam and Rose
Knicks still have a future choice to deal from Grimes\RJ\IQ\Obi\McBride since there's some organizational depth

Feels like going in for a 46 win team though .

If you could go and bring in og while only losing 1 unprotected and 1 protected and obi.
it would leave you with enough ammo to go and acquire a star if one should become available

Could offer three unprotected
And 2 more protected
Plus grimes or quick and rj to a team like okc for SGA or to Phoenix for booker

Would Dolan really be ok with paying RJ 26 mil per to come off the bench?

imo, you trade rj and 1 pick. if not, move on. no rush to dump fournier if rotation logjams are still going to be an issue afterwards. at least you can DNP him and his money comes off the books sooner. rj is the first player that's got to go, unless you can get a king's ransom in a julius/picks trade
