Maybe the Pacers will take their two second rounders back for TJ McConnell

I enjoyed Quickley's game. The foul trouble was unfortunate but he was the best player on the floor before his foul troubles. Was very surprised by his court vision.

I actually really liked RJ as well. I see the potential, and I can see why some of you hated him as well. But he has big time scoring potential, and I love the fact he can draw the whistle.

Yall will love OG, he's a great athlete, a very good shooter, and a top 10 defender in the game. We miss him already.

Dare I say this trade is a win-win?

Correct!

For the record, I agree on win win. I've been saying all year that Knicks Raps make great trade partners because our needs were opposite. I didn't think it would happen though as I didn't think Masai would give up his Precious forwards.

That and the whole lawsuit thing.

The fact that the players the Knicks have been trading away lately are playing well for their new teams is helpful for Rose being able to make another deal because he can point to them in saying the pieces you get will help your team.

Knicks have always been my #2 team just because before the Raptors my family where die hard Knicks fans.

You guys got a great thing going on in New York. Ironically the way you're running the franchise reminds me of the Lowry/Derozan Raptor teams. We never had an OG to stop LeBron, so hopefully he puts you guys on another level. You will not find 1 Raptor fan who hates OG, or doesn't wish he succeeds. You guys are just going to love him. We Raptor fans honestly believe he is the best perimeter defender in the game since 2020. He's such an impactful player, the comparison I always throw out is a modern day version of Ron Artest.

Good luck Knicks fans!

Ha! Somebody brought up Artest today in the game thread. I agree. And I have also compared this team with that Raptors team. We're not there yet but the patience paid off for you. Maybe OG is our Marc Gasol a little earlier.

On your end, a direction was picked and I think that's positive. Y'all we're in forward limbo for awhile. Masai has cleaned our clock enough times that I think he lands on his feet again.

RJ just needs to pass more on his drives. Hopefully your coaches can get that through his head cuz Thibs never could. I never got too pissed at him for missing open jumpers but some of his drives end with dumb lay ups when he should just kick it out and reset we’re maddening.

Not even sure we're better than the Pacers at the moment.

I mean they do have a better record by a game

But we just made a major trade and I’m not sure what this team even is yet other than 1-0 against a good team so I’ll have to wait and see

Yeah, we stumbled a bit and then made that trade but, the Pacers have a decent team. I'm not trying to compare what we were now after one game. We clearly need to sort out the bench though. May take another trade to do so.
