In short, no. kkkk

We got 56 for 40 ... and possibly cash.

We got 34 for 38 and 3 other 2nd rounders (probably from yesterday)

[edit] We took the guy who "can't read". rsrsrs

I think I've gathered

We traded 24 for 26 and 51
We picked Dadiet with 25
We traded 26 for Pick 38 and 5 future 2nds
We acquired 34 for 3 future 2nds and took Oregon Governor Tina Kotek
We traded Pick 38 for Pick 40 and Cash Motherfcker
We traded Pick 40 for Pick 56 and Cash Motherfcker

We still have picks 51 and 56 to go.

That's where I'm at. But Eris is reigning today ... anything is possible.

That 40 to 56 is bothering me. It doesn't feel right. Did they get $3M or something?

I'm guessing the Knicks are definitively going to pay the absolute minimum in salary to 56, but Oso might have wanted more? But, just making stuff up, tbh.

Does being drafted later affect players salary in the 2nd round?

Slight correction

We had 38 going into the draft, 26 was just 5 future 2nds, presumably 3 of which went to getting 34.

Thank you. Updated.

As much as the Thunder and Knicks deal with each , you would think the Knicks would have intel on if they were serious in signing IHart or their potential offer (if any)

Kolek is one of my guys. High basketball IQ. Plays hard. A TJ McConnell model.

Good fit for this roster and culture.

Very solid pick.

Yes and no. There's no scale for 2nd rounders. It's all negotiation. The teams aren't obliged to sign them. But the lower you are picked the less leverage you have, I imagine.

AND AND AND they're helping us save money.

This isn't our first rodeo doing this with them either.

I told people we needed a back up point. Or at least draft a guy who can set a team up. I was told Bridges blah blah. This season Knicks putting guys in position. Man this is good. McBride in his real role as catch and shoot player. In keeping eye out for 3 point shoooting big.

Oh wow somebody other than the Knicks drafted Reeves. He was Leon’s son client.

We definitely needed one. Being a 4-year player is a good indicator they might be ready to play a bit too.

Precisely, don’t know a team that would help another team make room to sign a player they want to sign
