They basically killed the franchise in that city. Sad.

We've got to stop doing this with the Mikal trade. The Knicks got a perfect two-way player for their team, incredible intangibles, in his prime, making borderline starter money for 2 years.
They gave up zero talent, and only picks. The trade was not at all the massive risk or overpay people worry about when comparing the total pick compensation to the Doncic or Fox trades. The Bridges trade was a pure addition, no worries about production that was given up, how the direction of the team will change now, or anything. Just a top 50ish player in the league to tack onto their established roster.

Completely agreed. Keep in mind Memphis offered 4 FRPs for Bridges at the deadline last season but Brooklyn declined. Houston supposedly also made some strong offer with picks and young players in it but was turned down. I'm completely down with the Bridges trade....

I mean downgrade from KAT to Randle was something...

In hindsight, probably. No one was expecting KAT to be an All-Star starter. He's definitely surpassed my wildest expectations. Old KAT is still there, though, with the TO and fouls, but I'm going to put some of that on Thibs and the injury. I still think T-Wolves are a top 6 in the West when the dust settles.
