But Judge’s empty post season stats this year are glaring. He has had zero big extra base hits this post season.
That is unacceptable.

Those are fair points but so is mine. I specifically said he has come up small in some big spots. Not a good chase with bases loaded but you expect a strike to be thrown there. I didn't see the misplayed ball so can't comment on that. As the MVP you certainly expect more and it's fair to have high standards, but again the guy is hitting over .400 - there is plenty of blame to go around. The team was no hit nearly through 6 innings. That isn't on Judge alone. Vlady crushing a grand slam (already up 5-0) when the Yankees bring in a scrub long reliever isn't something Judge has really had the fortune of facing. Their entire lineup is hitting and getting on. Yanks not so much.
The pitching has been an abomination.
Numbers also need context.
He has 2 RBI in 5 games and one of them came when they were down by a ton, and the other came off a missed catch by the Red Sox.
Judge is going to get held to much higher standards and rightfully so. He has not made an impact at all in the playoffs so far. This team will go only as far as Judge will take them.
