Mikal's eligible for an extension today.

After Kyrie signed for 3/120, there is no way that you can justify paying Mikal north of 40-45.

I'd start making calls tbh

Rumor had it he’d accept a lower amount…

Works for me!

Boston probably isn't looking to take on a player who wants a high extension.

He'd better because there's no way that the team can pay him that much

That Hart trade rumor seems awfully vague.

Well said, Kyrie is a superstar (even though I think he’s a nut job) and Mikal is a upper echelon role player. Mikal making superstar money would be terrible for us.

I don't know what Rose has in mind for center depth but after not getting serious about Jay Huff last offseason I'd like to see them explore Jock Landale or former Knick Luke Kornet.

I don't know who else is available for cheap that can be a rotational piece but I hope Rose does something.

Unsure if Huk is ready to be an impact in the regular rotation and it's rolling the dice to hope a rookie can do it, too.

With Mitch being brittle and KAT able to slide to the 4 bringing in more center depth does seem like it's important.

I feel like we are going to try and move up ifrom 50 today with some of our extra future 2nd rounders to target a specific big man who has rim protection upside. Just a guesstimation based on reading the tea leaves.

Knicks are going to stock up on big men prospects and hope one develops quick. This is due to losing IHart combined with Mitch's extreme injury history .

So far we got Nanji and Huk. Both until proven otherwise are relaitve unknown quantities.

What does seem clear is that winning seems more important than preserving Villanova Junction. Sounds like both Mikal and Hart are included in trade discussions.
