Kyrie had a well documented history of not showing up for work before they traded for him so none of the excuses really fly

Remember these dirty bastards stole our #10 pick a couple years ago. Remember the KP trade victory laps

It's still an awful trade for the Mavs, they shouldn't have traded Luka at all. And I hate the mavs terrible fan base. But I was just saying I think if they were able to stay healthy they might've been a really good team. Sounds like they're gonna tank the season away and trade AD and probably Kyrie too

Ok, but see, the glorious part of it is they'll never get more than a tease of what that could be. A few short games - maybe even a month - of great play before one of them goes down again. And it couldn't happen to a lousier bunch of louts.

And if you're on here playing up how great it could be before it all falls apart again it will be all that much more delicious when it happens.

Yeah AD is made of glass. By the time Kyrie is healthy ad will probably be hurt

"The 1 game they played together"

They passed the eye test in the 30 mins or so they played together!!!!

:D

They passed the eye test before those 30 mins cause youre a noted Luka hater. And there is one thing I always respect is being a certified hater. So by all means carry on, homie.

By which time Kyrie will have one of his episodes where he has to trash the team because he wants to escape to the winning team he feels he deserves to be on.

Per Wiretap, "Michael Finley, Matt Riccardi To Lead Basketball Operations For Mavericks On Interim Basis"

Kyrie: "You don't need temporary GMs, I can run the team without them."

More like Ayton saved Luka’s reputation from being a fat empty stat loser that Nico rightfully accused him as!!!!

Even with the league giving them the 1st overral pick it was a terrible trade.

Its crazy to think the grizz got a better deal for Bane than the Mavs did for Luka.

AD is elite when healthy and Christie is an underrated role player.

Imagine if the Sixers traded Allen Iverson in his prime after a finals loss, they would’ve been in a better position. They weren’t going to win a championship with AI. Your best player can’t be 165 lbs or 270 lbs in Luka’s case.

A broken down AD, a role player and one 1st is a horrible return for LUKA DONIC.

There is no way to spin that trade as anything but malpractice.

Shaq traded to Miami = championship
KG traded to Boston = championship
Pau traded to LA = championship

If Luka doesn’t win in the next five or six years, it will be proven to be an overreaction unless your argument is about ticket sales.

Did Jason Kidd just pull a Doc Rivers to become the GM and head coach?

I feel like this isn't really new characteristic of him. I think I remember reading that Nico was trying to get rid of a lot of people from that era.
