to me, thats the clearest tipping point as to his preference, with exception to the Cavs, who would obviously be last on his stops since he already plays there

Yes. He's a business first kind of guy.

I do find it extremely encouraging.

Come on dude get a clue you are getting played by Bron wake up.

I personally rather have Carmelo, the underdog to LeBron since they were drafted up until now, the NY kid, than this diva, LeBron. If we get LeBron, no problem, I'll love it, but I would LOVE IT MORE to have Carmelo and Gallinari meeting up with LeBron's Cavs in the ECF for the next 5-6 years and just giving it to him. Carmelo ends his career with a ring in his hometown, no longer becomes the forgotten one, while LeBron sits back in CLE, retiring without a ring.

Carmelo and Gallinari - The perfect complements to each other.

if i get played, than so be it...

i want th eKnicks to be awesome again, and LeBron is the MVP of the league... no other player will change the fortunes of our team like he can, which is why I am so blood thirsty to get him...

i can care less about all this diva crap, i jsut wanna see a good team... Sprewell did much worse and choked his coach, but most New Yorkers supported him... right?!?! I don't see why I should hate LeBron, plus I been following him since 10th grade, so its not like i jsut started liking him since the knicks rumors came out

I'm starting to feel the same way. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have HIM on the team, but if it doesn't happen I am not going to worry about it. As long as we put a respectable team on the floor I will be fine with the past couple of years and the things we have done to change our future. I would rather have a team full of hungry go getters than today's SUPERSTARS.

I would just hope that if he doesn't come, that WE (Fans, players, media, etc) doesn't make it a second coming of Reggie Miller. Reggie had some of his best performances in NY based solely off of the energy that we put out in hating him. I say if HE doesn't come, the entire fan base should take newspapers to the game when his team comes to town, and everytime "HE" touches the ball, they flip up the newspapers as if we are not interested. I know HE could care less, but I think it would say a lot about us the fans and our love for the KNICKS not our love with the idea of having one player.

F that. This is NYC baby. If he doesn't come it is his loss damnit. On to the next one.

I too don't hate LeBron. At worst, he is a showman. It is sports and supposed to be fun. I'll like LeBron even if he remains in Cleveland.

I have no problem with how LeBron has acted or not acted. He is not even a free-agent yet. It's silly to make all these assumptions that are ungrounded and based on rumors and half-truths.

For example, I don't really think they're going to do this sneaker thing. It's a fake rumor. I bet you it never happens.

People need to stop jumping to conclusions about LeBron and jumping down his throat for nothing.

He didn't avoid signing that extension so he could create free-agent sneakers. Let's get real here.

He really wants to explore his options. It's genuine.

If this source has legit info then....

This tour is going to be so funny. For one Avid Lee will have to decide

"do I wait until he drags this all the way the hell out or do I go get my money."

Seriously what happens if he takes a whole month to execute the itinerary?

Also I know Pat Riley will not be waiting on him if he can get the other Free Agents to commit. What about the summit they are supposed to have debunked by Henry Thomas agent of Bosh and Wade? Lebron seems to beating to his own drum. I think Wade as I stated was trying to get a leg up on recruiting when he opened his mouth a couple weeks back. Then WALSHED UP got a little shook and started doing dam near roadside interviews basically begging Lebron in so many ways to give New York a real chance.

The link mentions the Nets too but the Bulls last. Well why wouldn't he let us be Last? We'd be able to cipher things told to him from the other teams. You know Vanessa Williams said it best

"save the best for last"

Man this board is not going to be a pretty sight in about 2mos believe you me it isn't. Lebron isn't fooling me this is really sad.

I agree that he is exploring his options genuinely. Him and his clique are businessmen. I just don't like all this other ****. It's not just this tour, it's the dancing on the sidelines and all that bs that rubs me the wrong way. I would rather have Duncan 100 out of 100 times if I had to pick between him and LeDiva.

I'm prepared to hate LeBron James 4 lyfe.

So let him sign with another team. Knick fans has been kissing ass of the opposing teams for 2-3 years now because of this free agent thing. Hopefully we can return to our hateful ways next season.

I WANNA KILL A PLAYER or something less hateful & god please don't allow Melo to join this team.. please...

I was just thinking, the perception is Lebron threw the Boston game, If thats true, why did he do it? Once again, Im trying to decipher the LEbron theory, theres no way he goes back to Cleveland if he truly threw that game.....there would be no reason to do that, If he intends on resigning, also this man really wants a sidekick.

the issue with this, it feels like we're going to get burned. I'd sooner tell the guy to **** off and go elsewhere than to go through this ****. donnie better be seriously thinking about evan turner/brand and bosh.

its real simple, if we get a chance to talk to him, just 2 things needed:

1) cell phone, to call up whoever he wants to pair with
2) a sheet of paper of potential curry trades that can add talent to the team

but I dont think it matters.....he is just soaking this up, so that he can go back to cle and be loved there even more....he has this misguided loyalty that will keep hi m there imo...you can book this, sig it, whatever

Maybe he'll make an ESPN reality show about his "tour" so he can profit some more.
You look at how kobe is focused on winning another title (see avatar) but you have Lebron in the biggest offseason of his basketball career but he's out there selling sneakers. Lebron is USING fans to sell them his shoes based on their hope of him signing with their team. Really sad marketing ploy and too much attention for a guy who never won anything and hasn't been able to reach the finals with the top seed two years in a row.
