I know his opinion doesn't really matter nor does he have any sources, but I was just curious what Mad Dog Russo thinks of the whole Melo-drama. Sometimes I miss the guy, anyone listen to him on Sirius?

If I was Melo I would tell the Knicks to go to hell. Since when are the Knicks or their fans above it all to tell Melo to wait to get his money or less money and worst of all that he is not worth trading a bunch of stiffs on this team.

What a complete Joke. The Knicks might end up not getting Melo because they wanted to keep a role player or 2.

Melo wants to play in MSG but anybody of his caliber would be pissed that the Knicks are trying to hold on to players that have led them to 5 wins in tbe last 20 games and a .500 team.

I'm still flabbergasted by the status that Derrick Favors holds around the league. How many "raw superathletic" big men have to fail to change perceptions like that?

I dont get why he was so highly touted in the draft to begin with. I didnt understand at all how cousins got picked after him (outside of cousins mental issues). Favors just isnt that impressive imo, never was.

What credibility does this new Russian owner and Billy freaking King have? You already know Dolan will spend the money and we got a pro in Donnie Walsh running the show. Does this seem obvious to anyone else or is it just me? This makes too much sense.

Not surprising. I'd be surprised if Melo meets and agrees. Nets need to meet and convince him, and I dont see how that happens.

Anything the Knicks do for stats is inflated by the system they are in.

Gallo is so overrated by Knick fans and the coaching staff, this dude will never be an all star or even a good player. he is just a role player and Fields on another team is a bench player with no offensive game.

I would trade anybody with the exception of Stat for Melo. You have 2 stars and this team is better then the current team regardless if we hvae Williams, Walker, MOz, TD on the bench

pretty sure Al_Iannazzone is on the nets payroll. just heard him on the fan and he was way too bubbly and rah rah for my liking. just seemed like he's there to pump up the nets pr wise. meanwhile isola was on too basically mocked him the whole time. not that isola knows anything but you could tell isola's view of iannazzone.

he usually sits pregame to discuss net trades. Iannazzone is definitely on the nets payroll
