Shump is setting picks for Melo on the wing with the clock winding down. The Pacers are switching, so the Shump ends up with the ball, usually matched up against a better defender than his original man. New plan: get the guards to set the picks. Let Stephenson or DJ Augustine switch onto Melo.

This playoffs* has exposed Tyson in my eyes. Maybe he's hurt. But the whole "intangibles" thing is yesteryear value. Unless you eat up RBs or play insanely good D, you can't get away with having NO offensive game and be average on D/RBing

When Knicks are rolling, we are not actually that slow. The reason that number is skewed is because of our up and down season. We play best with ball movement, not when we fail to get an open look for 18 seconds and the n have Melo taking a bad shot in the final 6 seconds.

Funniest part is that he's 1 shot under 50%. 15 points on 15 shots (no free throws) is very good especially when some of those misses came on the same possession (missed putbacks).

He has the tendency of always making the wrong decision when he has an option. I just wish he would just shoot or swing the ball and that's it for now. Work on other parts of your game in the offseason. Too many times we see him dribble in, waste 5 seconds, dribble out and either pass or take a worse shot than he could have taken had he simply shot it when he received the ball.

I wonder if in that Durant/Wade commercial they show a close-up of Durant when he is BP'ing because he still can't BP 225.

we missed a ton of wide open shot in the 2nd half of the first. we could have blown this open.

Sure, we have missed 8 good looks, but we hit on about 5 bad looks.

What Melo considers a good shot is not a typical definition of a good shot.

I will say Melo made 2 plays that really impressed me. The first shot of the game was his 2nd touch of the play. Give and get! Then later in the 2nd, Melo turned down a 3, took 2 dribbles and made HIS shot, a wide open 20 footer
