And I'm arguing with someone about how many moderate Dems we should trot out against McConnell. This is the 4th election that we trot out a damn moderate. I was hoping for Charles Booker but it is what it is.

Charles Booker would have gotten his assed kicked too. Partisanship is too strong in a state like Kentucky. Wondering how the hell Bashear won?

because his opponent bevin was widely disliked by all, and beshear has name value in KY because of his dad steve

So Kentucky is hopeless then?

What's wrong with the people of Kentucky, with all due respect. The state's ratings on healthcare, education, etc. are all putrid. Are they really satisfied with where they're at there?

Progressive Booker would've done much better than the self-proclaimed "Trump Democrat." And this is why the DNC is fcked up. That's all.

May have still lost, but she was a bad candidate. They should have rolled the dice on Booker

For Governor.. it's not hopeless but for federal seats.. yes.

Why do you think Kentucky is the welfare queen in America? I think that's what McConnell wants and he thinks he is doing his job while calling Northeastern elites. Yet, our tax money is going to his state.
