The Giannis talk got me thinking... what if Embiid and Sixers mutually decide to part ways. Is Embiid someone we should even bother with? Thibs and Embiid seems like a recipe for disaster.

I imagine we'd be looking at Randle, Mitch, and picks. And then we'd have to S&T iHart and look for a cheaper back-up big option (via draft?).

If PG13 is all about getting that max contract, then he should go. But if he is looking at title runs, no way should he sign a long term contract and see Embiid bounce. This is almost like Dame's situation. He agreed to go to Milwaukee thinking Giannis will be there but then if Giannis bounces this offseason, Dame will say WTF did I ask for the trade.

Avdija is playing very well. He can be the main player of the Wizards next season. And his salary is low. They would ask for a star in return.

Washington is a mess right... they'll likely move Kuzma and then try to move Poole but they'll probably have him be a tank commander for another year or two because no one's trading any value for him.

Maybe they reboot things and send out Avdija (if he's unhappy there) and try to build a defensive identity with Mitch + Coulibaly + Kispert and their incoming slew of draft picks (they have #2 and #26 and we could send them #25 along with Mitch for Avdija). They tank next two seasons and maybe they steal a guy like Cooper Flag to start a real rebuild. The tank will remain "on" in places like Washington and Detroit at least one more season.

1) Deni should be very happy in Washington. He could be the main guy on the team very soon. Excellent spot to improve his numbers and ask for the sky in his next contract.

2) I said Deni is a very good player. But he does not look like a future superstar. The Wizards are not harming his legacy in the NBA.

3) If Deni is unhappy, he should take some antidepressants. Washington does not have any hurry to trade him. He is locked until 2028 in a cheap contract. Deni will not disrupt the Wizards tanking. It is a deal good for both sides. It would take a huge offer to make Washington to sell.

4) Bilau and Kispert are not guys to build around. They look pretty average.

Monitor Giannis and Embiid.... doubtful that either are available. Just run it back with bench upgrades and wait to punce on a superstar later.
