"He wants to be more a part of the offense. So I certainly can help him with that. I can design plays, I can get him in situations, etc, but it's kind of a working relationship that he's got to go take some of that, right."

Also considering he was a big part of the offense in the playoffs especially game 2 before he got injured, Jake is making assumptions not based on fact or from the agent/player himself

This screams fake news, but OG cant expect to just be given a bigger offensive role. They tried to do that in Toronto and his efficiency went down.

He had an opportunity to breakout more with us, but he didnt do it and then got hurt. Especially in the playoffs before he got hurt again. Was having a career game in game 2, but where was that earlier?

OG is the type of player to have a great scoring night every 10 games or so that teases us, but ultimately he’s just not aggressive enough to assert himself consistently.

If he went to Philly he’d be clearly behind Embiid and Maxey, so no different there.

It is when 1 of them misses half the season.

It’s true, but I notice that this has become a risk with so many if not all players. Everybody misses so many games. Look at Butler, PG, Kawhi, Randle, Morant, Ingram, it’s everywhere. Not just OG.

And then when there is someone like Bridges or DeRozan, people will still find something to discredit them.

Those guys are stars, Mitch is not that, he's a backup big that misses 30-40 games a year and has been hurt in 2/3 playoff runs. It's time to move on from him, especially if we're going to be giving OG a long term deal, you can't have two injury prone guys on the roster. If we're going to play the Russian roulette game of "when will he get hurt" at least do it with OG who has much higher upside.

Mitch is a good player, but he’s a limited specialist who cant stay healthy. Matches up well against bigger dudes like Embiid, but Isaiah is better overall.

Mitch is one of our better assets. Other teams could use him. Isaiah needs to play at least 28-30 mpg if his achilles thing goes away and we pay him 18 mill a year, so that only leaves 18-20 mpg for Mitch. We’re better off using his spot on somebody more versatile, healthier, and ideally cheaper.

Another player who matches up well against bigger dudes like Embiid is KAT.
