Unfortunately this is how I feel.

Even if we get there the NBA is gonna go full D Wade in 2006 for SGA

I think a lot of people's beef with the trade was Giddey's stock was pretty low after last season, and the deal strengthen OKC while allowing them to keep their assets. I compare the move to Boston landing Holiday. Chicago should have been able to land a pick at the very least.

The deal looked bad back then when it was initially made, but from a prospect standpoint he's basically the best you could ask for from a young PG with the way he looked after they moved Lavine. If they got picks instead, the Bulls would be hoping to draft someone with Giddey's potential. I think it worked out for both teams imo.

The thirst when it comes to former Knicks is just embarrassing to read on this board at times. We have an ECF on Wednesday. Can we lock in or we gonna whisper sweet nothings until then

If we get through Indy healthy we'll be ready for anyone in the Finals. It means we're guarding the 3 & figured out how to score against heavy guard pressure. We'll have our shot.

Obi, Isaiah and Julius can go F themselves.

They're the enemy now and they are in our way.

The only reason to talk about them now is to choose what style coffin you want to bury them in.

F those guys.

I was just watching some of those game 7 OKC/DEN highlights. When OKC was up like 20 late in the 3rd I was like damn this is over and blowout...that just reminded me how improbable those two 20pt comebacks in BOS were.

to do it in b2b games is ridiculous!

Any team that makes a run to the finals has to have some moment that defines their playoffs, but what is wild is our playoffs so far is a hit list of peak moments like:

Brunson sending Ausar Thompson to Cancun
Mikal Bridges ending two, not one, but two games, with clutch game clinching defensive plays
Two ferocious comeback victories from 20 points down
and
An Epic stomping of the Celtics to close the deal

Overcoming obstacles is the path to victory

They really gift-wrapped it for him, I remember that too. It was disgraceful.

Everybody’s hating on Gobert, but he’s really a difference maker.

Don't trust the refs at all

I cant speak on the refs and league- I definitely dont trust them. However, I got Minny beating OKC.

Even though OKC vs. Wolves will be a better watch than Nuggets being shorthanded against the Wolves would have been, I'm still sad the Nuggets couldn't pull it off in game 7 against OKC.

LOL

I do look fwd to seeing Dadiet and Kolek getting meaningful minutes next year.
I think it will happen.

If Mitch wasn’t playing so good, Hulk might get some minutes.

I don't buy it from Jokic. It wasn't depth.

Jamal Murray sucked 3 of the last 4 games in the series
Michael Porter Jr sucked the entire playoffs

That's their #2 and #3 top offensive guys

Aaron Gordon gets a pass for toughing it out
Westbrook was a net negative

Maybe they just need to get Jokic a new supporting cast if the guys he has just ain't cutting it

Has nothing to do with a lack of depth IMO. Their guys didn't bring it in Game 7.

And it has been that way for a long time. Those guys have been inconsistent in this era.

But lets not forget that Denver tried to plug Bruce Brown and KCP with younger, cheaper contracts. I agree with what the GM was trying to do however, it was always a gamble.

What really sunk them was the Gordon injury. Now with Gordon hobbled, you essentially don't have another rotation guy really used to be doing a whole lot and your 7 man rotation now is down to a 6 man rotation. If you go through the season and playoffs with a 9-10 man rotation, even if one player is hit with an injury you have a better chance of making up for it. And of course the other question in regards to Murray, Porter etc. is how they would have fared with some more help and 1-2 solid rotation guys sharing some responsibilities.

All that being said, if we make it to the finals I don't necessarily fear OKC. Keep in mind both regular season games were without Mitch and we know what type of difference he makes. The downside against OKC is they have Dortz and Caruso to throw at Brunson which will make life difficult for Brunson. But the Wolves also have made life tough for JB so he is going to have to work hard in a potential finals matchup anyways. I'm also not convinced OKC is sure to beat the Wolves---can go either way. If Edwards can play at an elite level the Wolves can take down OKC. OKC hasn't really been that impressive. Were down 30 to Grizzlies before Morant went down and needed 7 games to beat a completely hobbled Denver team. OKC may be favored, but they are certainly beatable.
