How can the Nets can assemble a massive trade that will net them both Melo and players as good as Amare and Felton that can win 12 out of 13 games without giving up every valuable piece they have on that valueless team?

Idk sounds like fake hustle to me. Why would they continue talking to us if we have nothing they want? Especially since they said they wouldn't even answer our phone calls at first because we had nothing to begin with.

Denver probably wouldn't trade Anthony right before Christmas, since he has a family and what-not. So he'll probably be traded in two weeks, at the earliest.

Denver tries one more time with the Nets, those talks collapse, and Denver eventually arrives at terms with Walsh, with Gallo (among others) heading west.

Maybe its a false report to try and get the Knicks to make a desperation offer so that Denver can get the most from NY in a bad situation for them.

As much as I want Melo, we're still in great shape to improve the team if he decides to go elsewhere. We could even trade Curry for Camby (Portland was rumored to be getting rid of their vets and Camby's on a 2-yr deal), and try and pry Mayo with AR/TD.

I just want this saga to be over, so we can start making moves, Melo or no Melo.

I agree. i feel like we are a few peices away from being a really good team. Melo would be great. But if we dont get him, I still think we can put together a winning team.

i think melo would consider jersey if they could bring some talent there. they can't of course. unless you consider free candy and the ghost of chauncey billups talent. he's got those guys now and he's not happy. wake me up when they get another all star.
