Yeah, I still think GS wins pretty handily. Much easier to guard iso teams than it is teams that move the ball like the Warriors do. You can stick Klay and Iggy on him and not have to worry, and they have guys that can switch onto him and hold their own as well. Houston doesn't get the ball moving from side to side so the defense can just stay in their spots. GSW, on the other hand, is beauty visualized on the court.

and paul george was averaging 29 ppg on 45/41/86 splits before game 7. dude was playing out of his mind. so yeah. i would still take paul george over him. doesn't mean i think oladipo is a bad player. he's really good as well.

The Cavs beat the Warriors because Barnes couldn't hit an open jumper to save their life and because Dray was suspended. As for the regular season games, I'm not reading into it. Talk about coasting.

Bet against his team, then. They almost lost the series because how bad the supporting cast is (and that was with the refs making some bogus calls / non-calls and McMillan with some terrible coaching choices down the stretch today).

You’re joking right? The team on paper was expected to be a bottom 5 team in the league. NY not properly rebuilding has nothing to do with the fans, in fact Perry and Mills went out of their way to mention how fans want them to take their time rebuilding the team. The Knicks won’t properly rebuild because they don’t know how to, don’t blame the fans lol.

Crying over a missed player in one season is exactly what I'm referring to. No patience. wait and see what your own guy does first.

The crying over spilled milk is weak. As good as Mitchell is, what we don't know yet is what Frank's future net positives will be. If Frank turns out to be an all-world defender who shuts down guys like Donovan, then Frank's differentials in the future may actually be equal to or exceed a guy averaging 25 PPG.

If Frank averages 15-20 PPG while clamping down on scorers and shaving off 10-15 points on their usual production, then his +/- could easily become elite.

People have no patience.

There is this concept called "time value of money".

Interesting to read about and could be applied here.

Sad part is they are barely taking the playoffs seriously at this point. There is a small chance but that might be their downfall. They just haven’t looked focused all year and they might try to turn it on too late.

They've looked damn good actually. #2oRTG #1 dRTG, #1 point differential by 4, and they've looked WAY better than they did really at any point this year...and this is without Steph, which is scary.

Remember when KP was supposed to be not much his rookie year? Young foreign guys are supposed to be nothing amazing in year one. People wanna act like Frank is a dud or doesn't have the superstar it factor. If he develops into Mark Jackson with better defense is he still a "ho hum" pick?

I will be content if Frank becomes a 6'5 7'1 wingspan version of Pablo Prigioni.

But it is delusional to say that we didn't miss out on Mitchell. People have the right to be upset and their opinions should be respected.

Fans are allowed to their opinions, ie it would be great to have Mitchell on our team because now we all see how good he is. What I am not going to respect is Monday morning quarterbacking. I don't respect people who said things like "We should have gotten Smith" then after seeing Smith didn't have a stellar campaign and Mitchell did decide that because they liked Mitchell after Smith, that now "Phil screwed us by taking Frank instead of Mitchell." That's a fake fan and a fool. If Smith was your pick, ride that out, that's your pick. Frank was supposed to be a project. His expectation was never ROY.

Did we miss out on Mitchell? What does that mean? Do I wish we could re-draft and take Mitchell? I don't know, at this point it would look like the smart move. In five years Frank could be playing like Jason Kidd and Mitchell could be Brandon Roy. What if in 2 years Smith plays like MVP Rose? Do we lament that? Then in 2 years past that he blows out his knee and looks like Knicks Rose do we find a new thing to lament if Frank "only" becomes George Hill 2.0?

Your opinion should be respected.

But fans do not have the same access to resources when it comes to draft prospects like the management do. Fans can hold the front office personnel to the highest standard. I don't think this can be argued.
