Yeah they really weakened Bron.

I just noticed Frank Jackson is out along with Satoransky so I don't have either of my backup PGs for NewEra smh. How the injury bugs hit already?

Last year there were no devastating season-ending injuries but many nagging injuries throughout the course of the entire season. So I expect more of the same for this year. Which is why depth could be important in staying afloat when guys are in and out of the lineup.

Other than maybe needing a backup big man, I think I am done until January 15th. I will finagle around with Bagley, Bassey, and Bitadze in my lineups; but otherwise I am about to become a very boring owner.

I will review all offers of course but I do consider Sexton my missing piece to a top 4 seed.

Not gonna get too high or too low after the first game, but I gotta acknowledge some things....

The first game of the season is always emotional because you put so much time into building a vision during the offseason, and to see it pay off in a win feels so good. Especially against a top defensive team and GM who I highly respect.

How about picking up Goran Dragic off waivers one day, and the next he drops 18/5/1???

Obviously Embiid's performance can't go unnoticed, but 26 assists for the team makes me so damn proud!

THE BIG FELLA HAS A GREAT SUPPORTING CAST!

Embiid- 43pts, 16rebs, 6blks, 2ast
Dragic- 18pts, 5ast, 1stl
VanVleet- 14pts, 8ast, 2stls
Bullock- 14pts, 5rebs, 1stl
McCollum- 13pts, 4ast, 3rebs, 2blks
Tobias- 9pts, 8rebs, 3ast

Rotation is finally in. Decided imma need to start Moses to have a shot against Embiid. Hopefully we can keep him off the boards and win a grind type of game since we play just as tough as they do if not tougher with all our defenders and rebounders.

I don't expect to beat Cleveland but I'd like to avoid a 30 point beat down. I am starting Sexton, Luka, Bey, Zion, and KP in the hopes I can at least compete tonight.

You might need to go ahead and get into the weeds on your rotation. Zion and Luka need staggered minutes badly.

I don't agree. In the real world Luka would feed Zion down low all night long. Sexton had 9 shots, Zion 10, KP 14. The SIM ball hog point guard Luka had 29.

I think by moving Luka to SG, the shots will be better distributed. Other than Sexton, my primary scorers shot great percentages in a ugly loss. I need Sexton knocking down threes. That is not asking to much considering his career average is .378 ... The SIM God gave him a big goose egg ( 0 - 4 ) in the loss :D

I'm with E-balla but to each his own. I get your rationale but I would never want to have a minute where both Luka/Zion were both on the bench together.

I have built my rotation so that when Curry is getting a breather the offense runs through MPJ.

I agree about Zion and Luka not always being on the bench together. Is the AI so dumb it takes all five starters out at the same time? I never even considered it would.

unless you specifically sent your minute matrix to break up there minutes. I think they would sit them together. Because you have Luka and Zion both at 38 minutes. My assumption is the SIM wouldn't break them up like that.

I have Curry and MPJ both playing 36 mins but specifically sent in my matrix per minute distribution so the SIM doesn't make the mistake of sitting them both together.

I don't think you can assume an AI just figures it takes your two best players and even though you have them playing the same minutes it would automatically redistribute both minutes so they stagger...you gotta do that yourself.
