Jackson didn't want a no defense PF, that's the reason for the disinterest in Lee but that bit from Dee was funny even if not true especially with IT in MSG now.

Maybe that's the reason

maybe they were going to stretch Lee. 5 million over the next 3 years. And boston said hey we will save you 2 million on the cap the next few years and a few million in savings if we just swap them.

Wallace would be a solid addition to this team

we could send them Calderon for Wallace and they save still more $$

we get a SF who can start next to Melo

Wallace is toast man. If he wasn't owed money he would be out of the league.

For anyone with ADVANCED CBA knowledge.

Given our FA commitments, is it possible a 3 team trade with Portland with a sign and trade with Lee heading to NY?
My math says no. Tommy Dee says it was on the table.

why do people still talk like this? "men of color" just say black guys. Saying men of color is not more politically correct. Should I refer to white guys as "men of no color"?

actually, because i was including latinos and south asians and other non-white american "men of color" who tend to culturally like thicker women. and my assumption is that el poochio is latino because of his name and occasional forrays into spanish.

sorry i didn't fit into your black dude-centric view of things.

Sorry I am not in your Mexicano centic view as I am not a latinoLad =D and I dont like thicker woman, but I dont like ripped woman too i guess go on men of lotion

Now southern Asians are men of Color to. Latino's are colored people to? Yeah right bro. Your excuse is wack. The only so called "colored people" in America are blacks. Segregation proved this. Like I said, should I call white dudes men of no color.

bro... i'm sorry to be the one breaking this news to you. but look up some men of color scholarships and organizations. i would have just said "black" if that's what i meant. but it wasn't. i know i don't have to explain myself to you. i'm legit trying to help you understand something before you go out there in the real world and speak with ignorance to social conventions that may have passed you by.

and segregation proved "colored" was a convenient term for "ain't white." which include native americans, asians, latinos, etc.

which fountain do you think those other groups drank from in the south?

I'd have to go into the CBA and look at the exact language to figure out if it is legal, but in theory the Knicks could do a three way where they send out 21M in cap space/trade exception to Blazers (plus 7M for Calderon to Warriors or Blazers) = 28 M outgoing.

Knicks would receive Lopez and Afflalo (21M) and then an Lee (15.5M). So they would receive 36.5M back.

When you send out over 19.6M in cap space, you can receive back 125% + 100k. So that would put the Knicks at around 35.1M incoming salary alllowable. If they were to add in Early/Ledo they could probably make it work.

However, like I said, unsure off the top of my head about exact language if CBA as far as certain factors that are involved. S + T with cap space instead of players, S + T in three team deal, etc.

You just dont get it. Referring to non whites as colored people is dated and has been rooted in nothing but hate. Its a reason why blacks or who ever you want to called "colored" are not publicly called colored people. We are not called colored people on the news. Its a dated ass racist term.(not saying you are or thats why you used it) but as a black man, I hate being referred to as a colored man, since I know the history behind the term.

AA will def drop off in 4-5 years, and Melo's body has been starting to break down two consecutive years.....after a decade of carrying the load for two different franchises. Melo and AA would seem unlikely that they will maintain, rather I think we've already seen AA slip and Melo's body will cause him to slip, as he's no longer at the beginning of his prime, rather the end. And the other problem, is you don't have a lot of quality youth to develop quickly enough for them to help your current "top dogs". Porz is simply a body issue, he'll need more meat to play.....and Grant is kind of it after that in regards to young talent. Penciling in guys like Galloway and Oquinn to be heavy contributing role players on a contenting team is premature, at best.

you're right. i didn't get the point of your response to me. it read like you were accusing me of saying something i didn't mean.

i did not mean to offend you, or any other black man with the term "men of color." i also would never refer to anyone as "colored." that's a parallel you made, and i'm sorry it took you there, and to the point of being offended.

would you rather i said "minority" or "non-white?" i'm essentially grasping at terms to speak of a cultural thing more than a racial one. because culturally, white men have historically exalted skinny women, and other groups have beautified "thick" women, so to speak. that's really what i was getting at.

and yes, we have greatly digressed from the subject of basketball because we were looking at and discussing... asses on women.
