Maybe that's the reason
maybe they were going to stretch Lee. 5 million over the next 3 years. And boston said hey we will save you 2 million on the cap the next few years and a few million in savings if we just swap them.

Wallace would be a solid addition to this team
we could send them Calderon for Wallace and they save still more $$
we get a SF who can start next to Melo

Given our FA commitments, is it possible a 3 team trade with Portland with a sign and trade with Lee heading to NY?
My math says no. Tommy Dee says it was on the table.

i THINK i understand what you mean... i know a lot of guys don't like the muscle-bound look. and a lot of men of color like their women with more cushion than this...
but these womens is bad.
why do people still talk like this? "men of color" just say black guys. Saying men of color is not more politically correct. Should I refer to white guys as "men of no color"?
actually, because i was including latinos and south asians and other non-white american "men of color" who tend to culturally like thicker women. and my assumption is that el poochio is latino because of his name and occasional forrays into spanish.
sorry i didn't fit into your black dude-centric view of things.

Now southern Asians are men of Color to. Latino's are colored people to? Yeah right bro. Your excuse is wack. The only so called "colored people" in America are blacks. Segregation proved this. Like I said, should I call white dudes men of no color.

bro... i'm sorry to be the one breaking this news to you. but look up some men of color scholarships and organizations. i would have just said "black" if that's what i meant. but it wasn't. i know i don't have to explain myself to you. i'm legit trying to help you understand something before you go out there in the real world and speak with ignorance to social conventions that may have passed you by.
and segregation proved "colored" was a convenient term for "ain't white." which include native americans, asians, latinos, etc.
which fountain do you think those other groups drank from in the south?

You just dont get it. Referring to non whites as colored people is dated and has been rooted in nothing but hate. Its a reason why blacks or who ever you want to called "colored" are not publicly called colored people. We are not called colored people on the news. Its a dated ass racist term.(not saying you are or thats why you used it) but as a black man, I hate being referred to as a colored man, since I know the history behind the term.
