Ian Begley @IanBegley
FWIW: the #Knicks are among several teams to recently express interest in free agent shooting guard John Jenkins, per league sources.

i don't disagree with you, but look at what the hawks did with korver. if you have a known, 3-PT threat, and utilize him correctly (which novak was not, plus he isn't even half the player korver is), defenses will HAVE to cover him, opening up other options, especially in the triangle.

Forwards, probably 1 and that's a maybe. Just think that even another guard would do. From the list I made earlier, these guys are left.
Gerald Green
Alexey Shved
Jeremy Lin
Jason Terry
Norris Cole
Austin Rivers

And true, I wouldn't mind him if we miss out on other targets. Shooters are important.

but none of those guys address the major needs of the knicks. either a foward who can break down the defense, or strong 3 point shooting. maybe, gerald green.

i wouldn't mind rivers, but not for 2.8. wouldn't mind lin for 2.8

This would be a good pickup. Scoring off the bench, good shooter, can fake the 3 n drive in for a floater, smart player, has a ton of confidence, plays with a chip on his shoulder. Was doing well 2yrs ago, but since Carroll, Schroeder, Korver, and Teague emerged, he's sort of gotten lost in the rotation. His defense isnt amazing, but not terrible either. He would be a solid fit to the Knicks n their system.

There are very, VERY few things on God's green Earth that could make me stop rooting for the Knicks, but Tyler Hansbrough just might be one of them.

i swear to everything that is good and holy we better not pick up that POS. What a waste of roster space for that fake b*tch a** no talent scrub!

where is KT to give us the low down. Can he play the triangle lead guard or is he strictly a 2 guard.

I think the biggest need is just someone who can break down the defense. We have shooters rn.

Liking this. We need a shooter. Hopefully he comes here for the minimum.

that's why i like lin. as bad as he is as a shooter dude can penetrate well, if given the freedom. personally, i'd take our rookie over lin, but lin at least comes with experience, albeit not with the triangle.

Agreed. He or Shved would be welcomed additions to me. Think Lin gets more though.

as he should. much more established. not a good fit in LA. lin would be a steal at 2.8

Get Jenkins. And if I'm reading it right, it will only take a second rounder to get birdman. Do it

hes tough, annoying and fundamentally sound

he would be fine here

he's the most annoying guy in the league
we don't seem to mind those guys when they are making people crazy for us

though his run in with Artest will always be magic for me

John Jenkins has Danny Green potential. I don't think we can afford him though.

Minus the defense. Danny was a good defender, then got a NBA 3 point shot.

Trade the rights of our 57th pick last year for Birdman.

Perfect 10-15 back up C and PF
