maybe that's why you've seen such a slow pace on the SP market. there are definitely going to be guys here that rack up 100-125 innings next year with #3 starter level numbers.

A big deal with prospects is in the works. Via MLB sources, the #Pirates will acquire #Padres No. 7 prospect OF Hudson Head, No. 17 LHP Omar Cruz, No. 20 RHP David Bednar, RHP Drake Fellows and #Mets No. 14 C/OF Endy Rodriguez. Joe Musgrove is headed to SD, Joey Lucchesi to NYM.

The Mets gave up Endy Rodriguez to acquire Lucchesi.

The New York Mets fired general manager Jared Porter on Tuesday, according to owner Steve Cohen.

The firing came a day after ESPN reported that he sent explicit, unsolicited texts and images to a female reporter in 2016 while working for the Chicago Cubs in their front office.
