Correct me if I’m wrong, the clippers as we speak do not have room for 2 max, they still have to unload Gallo?

2010, remember when we briefly posted weeks ago and winked that many didn't realize the Kawhi to Knicks connection...

Welp...

I think Knicks dont want to commit 10M+/year in a backup center.

Or they know DJordan wants to play for a contender.

$10+????

Oh, Vuc is getting much more than that.

Sorry. Wrong post. I was talking about Jordan.

Could we fit Rozier as the third guy?

I’ve been thinking it was gonna be this for a while and with KD going down with his injury Kawhi was the first person who popped up in my mind who could relate to him.

All this Nets/Lakers **** is just for show and for the weak to get intimidated.

It’s down to the Clippers and us wherever KD & Kawhi are going, the Raptors are out the picture for Kiwi.

While I'm really hoping you're right, I can't figure out why, if that truly is their master plan, Kawhi wouldn't just do a 1+1 with TOR while KD signs with the Knicks in order to hedge some really bad odds with Durant's achilles.

Unless he just doesn't want TOR bottom line.

Maybe he wouldn't mind a heavy load management year without playoffs? IDK, plus stuff happens either way to mess your plans get it in the bag. If the worst happened and KD came back a shell could we amnesty and shoot again in 2021? Maybe that's a part of it. We'd still have young talent to go with him.

2010 is probably Kawhi Leonard.

So much behind the scenes stuff has been laid with KD. So many business connections and ventures and plans for things. All here in NYC. This isn't LeBron in '10. The Achilles could have changed things but I still believe Him not coming here would be a monumental upset.

Now if he could get Kawhi in on this. Kawhi does like left coast but he certainly has ties and likes NYC too. This offseason would be special. With Kawhi even an 85% KD would be plenty especially if Mitch and Barrett reach their ceilings.

I'm sure KD is recruiting but highly doubt that Kawhi commits to us. Those guys won't be playing together next year and the year after that they will barely see time on the floor together.

I don’t think he really cares to be in Toronto.

Kawhi legit only cares about basketball and being happy playing basketball.

He never asked to be traded to Toronto, he has no connection with them, he got them a title & his comments in the Finals post conference were really telling about him not committing there.

I still feel Kawhi loves that finals mvp trophy more than anything. Raptors gave him the best of both worlds though, and he delivered them a title. That man gone though.

The sell here isnt really the Knicks, but rather what their people persuade him into. Both kawhi and kd have business interests here.

I know some scoff at that, but those guys play the game seriously.

Just step out the box for a second, and iamgine the looks on the youths faces if they saw KD and Kawhi sitting in the Vegas with Knicks jersey's on. if that dont get you to get your game on par.....

Well, it would be a sensational coup by the Knicks to sign them both, no doubt about that

Kahwi and KD certainly would benefit one another from the business perspective as a double signing would shift enormous attention to the franchise that they both could capitalize upon

The only hitch to that would be Kahwi having legit questions about KD's health, because after the early buzz you still have to grind

Before the “Kyrie to the nets is a done deal” rumor came out Cris Carter said Kawhi wanted to team up with KD in NY.

Cris Carter and 2010 been saying Kawhi is seriously looking at us and now we got an official meeting and woj bomb that he really does want to team up with KD.

Kyrie to the nets may be a result of this. KD was recruiting last month when they said KD and Kyrie was a done deal. Maybe he never intended on playing with Kyrie? Too much like Westbrook situation?
