how dare he. he falls in love with ever young player the knicks ever had.

if it was easy more people would be really good at it. Projecting prospects is very hard especially with limited resources and behind a computer...you kinda just try to find things you like and think will be translatable as a basketball player.

another strategy is to like every prospect and think they have star potential so that you can say you were right

I like the “GreenArrow” strategy. Flip flop on every single prospect every day so nobody can say you were wrong.

it's called dynamic analysis

they're basically banking on 1 or more of those Nets picks being good. didn't like that they moved LeVert for Dipo

I think they turned it down cause they wanted Maxey. I personally would’ve taken the Philly offer, even though I’m not that high on Ben Simmons. It’s possible the Nets can fall off quickly and maybe those picks turn out good. Anything is possible with Kyrie on your team

We probably would have drafted Hayes so there’s that.

No. Detroit would still have drafted him earlier. Our options would be Kira, Maxey, Hali or Deni.

I would vote Deni at the time.

Deni would've probably been my guy too, but I wasn't nearly as high on him as I was Deandre Hunter or as I am on Ziaire Williams. So I'm not going to sit here & crucify them for not taking him. Especially before we see what Obi is going to become.

I struggle to see how it's Julius' fault that Toppin has been hurt :dontknow:

If toppin were healthy there would be PT for him; Mitch & Julius don't play 48 minutes a night.

How many seconds a healthy Toppin would have of playing time?

Harr harr harr, very droll. Yes, very droll.

Now back to reality; Mitch & Julius play 30 & 38 minutes a game (respectively). That means there are 28 minutes a night available for a 3rd big, even if a healthy Obi turns out not to be good enough to eat into the starters' PT. Which would be plenty if Obi had been healthy enough to actually play those minutes.

"I thin what's amazing about where Kevin Durants fits in is Kevin Durant went to Brooklyn in this sort of grand scheme with Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan," said Ramona Shelburne on the ESPN Daily podcast. "Those are the three super friends from Team USA. They were down on the cruise boat down there in Brazil.

"If you understand their relationship, Kevin Durant is really focused on basketball. He's like a hoophead. He just loves to play. Kyrie Irving is the alpha of that group, of that friend group.

"When they were choosing where to play, I think Kyrie took the lead. Kyrie wanted to go to Brooklyn. He talked DeAndre and Kevin into it.

"So if you're Kevin Durant right now, how do you feel about that? The guy who got you there is sort of M.I.A. We don't know what's going on with him. Now you have a chance to play with your old buddy James Harden."

Durant and Harden worked out together in Los Angeles before the start of the season and began discussing playing together with the Nets.

"Even when they were talking about it this summer, the conversations were pretty extensive. It was mapping out how the trades would even get done."

it's all coming out now. this motherf*cker stole durant from us and then goes on a walkabout like he's a aborigine.

Haliburton would have been such an easy pick for the Knicks too. Its almost like people held it against him that he can shoot and play defense and doesnt play like a crack head, Oh well.
