It appears that there are a lot of empty seats tonight. Maybe that was just for the prelims.
It really was a great prelim/early prelim. There were good fights. It was tough to watch Waterson go out like that, but her retirement adds to the moment. Then you've got Pyfer and Talbot who showed why their highly touted prospects.

Alex even appears to be too big for LHW. I wonder if moving up to HW is his next challenge?
I think it's coming soon. The last couple of LHWs that would be interesting for Alex (Ankalaev and Rakic) will straight-up try to wrestle. I think the UFC would rather get a big-money HW fight or two in before Periera deals with that.
Dana White has to be praying for a future where Jon Jones beats Stipe and calls out Poatan. Jones doesn't want to fight Aspinall out of spite, so a pivot to Pereira for legacy seems more and more like it could happen.
