And if he doesn't?

I'd prefer to move his salary because I would want to save almost 8mill against the cap next season.

I also feel shved, Galloway, and grant can handle the PG duties and our win-loss record won't be all that much different for it.

At this point I'd rather wait it out until mid season or next offseason. there's not a lot of attractive options out tehre to move him. If he can stay healthy and prove to be a good back up for a contender it could be rather easy to unload him. I still think Cleveland would be a perfect fit for him. He's way better than Dellevedova.

Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated posed an interesting scenario in one of his recent columns, suggesting that the Clippers might consider dealing Chris Paul after losing DeAndre Jordan to Dallas via free agency.
First and foremost, Mannix states right off the bat that this isn't even a rumor yet, so this "report/rumor" should be viewed with some major skepticism. That being said, Mannix speculates that the only person out there with a value high enough to entice an offer of dealing one of the leagues top-3 point guards in CP3 would be Kyrie Irving. We'll let you know if this rumor gains any traction, but right now, this is so far off from being a reality it’s not really even worth discussing.

We'll see what happens. Not sure Shved is back if Calderon is still here. But who knows how the team feels about any of these guys.

Im pretty hopeful that his corner 3 can continue and his backdoor cutting will be solid in the triangle

beyond that its gravy

he can handle the ball pretty well and push the pace up court so hopefully he can come into his own with us

Kinda hard for Jose not to improve from last season. But I wouldnt judge him from it. We has been a solid player his while career. We know he is a minus on the defensive end, but can space the floor and distribute the ball well. This team is moreally balanced and a better fit for both him and Melo.

Jose is in position to have a much better year a day I think that he will

I agree, he could thrive here offensively. I like that he isn't much of a ball stopper also. Moves the ball quickly. But, he does need to be somewhat of a decent defender and at least box out on rebounds. Can't have a 4 man that's a completely liability in two major aspects of the game.

For joking about how a thread that grew by pages every few minutes last week is now petering out slowly?

This can't be legal! If DeAndre changes his mind, Silver should fine him, the Clippers and have them forfeit future picks.

 They realize in how much ish they would be without him. Had a few days to scour the market for any big man, and they realize none worth anything would come for minimum. Too bad they didn't try harder sooner. Hope DJ sticks in Dallas, just to watch it all burn and CP3 leave next year.

Jose with Affalo next to him and Lopez down low is a very different thing than Jose with Smith or Shump or Hardaway next to him and Bargs or Amare down low

Return to New York Knicks
