Woodson already said Lin would be our starting point guard...this was a few days ago, too.

Well clearly he wasn't being completely honest.

The last thing Woodson has been is dishonest.

He stated his stars, including Melo should be in better shape.

He noted Lin might not play the rest of the season, and he didn't.

And he's been following his core guys everywhere basketball related.

He has no track record of being dishonest.

I feel bad for Knick fans. With your Fan base you should be as succesful as the Lakers. Hope you guys keep Lin. Why didn't Dolan sign him when he had the chance?

He initially agreed to a deal that the Knicks felt they could match; this deal encouraged the Knicks to make certain roster moves. Then Jeremy Lin consents to renegotiate contract terms and agrees to a deal which would allow Houston to pay him 8-8-8mil over three years while the Knicks would have to pay 5-5-15mil over three years: A poison pill for the Knicks that would obviously deter them from matching.

exactly!

some of you people....get mad a Lin he is the one that brought this on the Knicks. Getting on Melo??? GTFO

We should be killing Lin for screwing the Knicks

Exactly, and I luv Lin and want him back, but this is some B.S.

Geez, mpharris. You really blame Lin more than you do Morey? Did Lin have naked pics of Morey that he used as leverage to get a higher offer? Don't tell me you're actually buying this tabloid bull****.

How did he screw the Knicks? The Knicks told him to go out and see what he can get. This is what he can get. The Knicks said they would match ANYTHING. Should Lin of said please stop offering me money when we hit 'this mark'?

No, I'm not kidding. I'm not as high on Melo like most people are. I don't think the Knicks should have ever traded for Melo. I thought they were better off keeping Gallo, Chandler, and everyone else in the trade.

Lin may leave just because the Knicks FO bends over for Melo. Melo is in charge of this team.

If you honestly believe that then you have some issues man

What's wrong with what I said? The fact that I believe Lin has potential? The fact that Melo is overrated as hell? The fact that the Knicks do whatever Melo tells them to do? They all seem right to me.

Knicks FO bends over for Melo, hence why MDA got fired.

This thought process is incredibly stupid.

The Knicks never made Lin an offer. They wanted him to sign a contract and he did. Believing something Berman said in the Post (which nobody else has reported) over actual facts is a joke.

Pretty sure the MSG stock went up from like 28 dollars to 36 once Linsanity hit.
