Im glad hes gone so now we dont have to deal with his cultist fanbase bashing Melo everyday, take yo ass to Texas and good riddance.

Shumpert was guarding Williams half the time and he got torched just as bad.

Just admit you're butthurt, man. If you have a couple of good games at rucker park, let's say 20, are you really telling me that the logical response should be "Get your ass out of here. You suck. Good riddance?" Really? When Deron "fried his ass" you know that he was denied penetration nearly EVERY possession against Lin, and made shots only from deep (2 regular fgs), while being guarded by Shump the MAJORITY of the time. And Lin had 21 pts, 9 assists, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals.

You've hated on Lin for quite a while now. Just like the Lin-fans you hate because they hate on your favorite players. Stop the hate. Melo and Tyson's gonna bring it hard this year. Felton, hopefully, will do his thing, and we got a team this year that's gonna make noise. Why hate on a player who worked his butt off for our team, put a positive stamp on the season, and contributed to a playoff entrance which we looked like we'd miss...

Unless you're butthurt.

Don't worry about it - we don't need Lin to make ourselves look stupid. We're the Knicks!

All these 'sources' and pathetic excuses for articles are just the media's way of trying to paint Melo as a villain. This appeals to the broad audience of circa February 2012 bandwagon fans who wanted the Knicks to blow up the franchise and build around him.

Do you realize a large majority of true Knicks fans either don't care, got over, or are glad Jeremy Lin left? The only people who care are the bandwagoners who could give two **** about Knicks pride. Whats halarious in all of this is that these are the SAME 'fans' who wanted the Knicks to not match the offer because Woodson's offensive schemes and Carmelo's game would be detrimental to Lin's growth. Hell they even threw a hissy fit when the Knicks targeted Steve Nash in free agency. STEVE NASH.

It's not good enough that Lin left, they also have to drag Melo's name through the mud in the process. Meanwhile this guy is busting his tail representing our country in the grandest stage of athletics while Lin didn't even have the courtesy to accept team USA's invitation to play on the practice squad because he didn't have his fat contract first.

Lol. Your complaining about the NY media. You should no that this is what they do. Were you this vehemently opposed to there actions when they were trashing Lin all throughout Free agency? First it was Lin now it is Melo next it will be Amare. Your defending melo hard right now I hope you will defend amare hard as well when it is his turn.

38 yo soon to be 39 yo! Signing Nash would give Knicks a 2 years window at best. You'd think he's gonna play well at 42, 43? Lin is 23 and has about 10-12 years window. All of you saying Lin can't defend (when he stripped ball more than any PG I know), you want Nash of all PGs who can't defend to replace him? Nash couldn't defend at 30 years old when he won MVP, and only got worse today.

You're going to choose a 2 year window over 10-12 years window for Knicks?

I am a Knicks fan, I hope Felton does well for us. But wanting a 38yo Nash, Felton/Kidd, over Lin was crazy on owner/ management/ delusional fans' part, because Lin could be a superstar. Those who said Lin's a fluke point to the 1 frickin Heat game, when I can point out LeBron, Carmelo in their rookie years had like 4-7 single digit points games, Kobe averaged only 7.6 ppg, Deron in his rookie year was a role player, Steve Nash in his first 5 years did not come NOWHERE NEAR Lin in terms production/ impact on his teams... laidback Phoenix and Dallas fans butchered him, saying he was a bust, imagine if Nash had played in New York (which Lin had to face). His confidence would crash like Darko's and he'd never ever recover.

So, in your world, the vast majority of "true" Knicks" fans either don't care, said "meh," or are happy to lose their new young 23 yo PG who put up great numbers and helped the team win, and would rather start the team "chemistry" process all over again?

In your world, the same people who dogged Lin, the ones who called Lin a scrub, exposed, overpaid, greedy, a backup, etc. turns around and dogs Melo and it's Lin's fault. You'd rather dog Lin yet again.

Oh the jealousy. The butthurt. The haterism. Can't we all just get along?

You just put Dragic, Irving, Rubio up there with other great PGs... really?
Dragic has proved just as much as Lin has if not less, Rubio was a rookie who averaged 10 and 8, you could make a case that Irving is better as a player at this stage and he's younger, but last time Lin completely destroyed Irving.

Try again.

lol. Lin haters always focusing on one game in which the Heat game planned against, doubled teamed, and full court pressed Lin the whole game.
