I imagine the same way it would've affected it had we let him just finish out the season with us and let him expire.

My sources are telling me that this buyout will not affect our cap room at all

am I doing it right?

my sources tell me that you may or may not be doing it correctly, but your post did contain actual information instead of vague innuendo so probably not. story is still developing. stay tuned.

So happy for this guy. He can go to a team that actually deserves him and knows how to utilize him now. The Knicks don't deserve him. They deserve the Melos and Feltons of the world.

This is a hot tip! Show us the underwear.

you're just jealous of my connections and that i once had amstel lights with mike woodson and forced him to record a 30 second video. and you probably jerk off a lot. post something of value. hater.

You had amstel with Mike? Did he give you his underwear to prove it? I am totally jealous.

Shhh... dno't tell about the jerking off. You're not supposed to know that.

But until I see the underwear, I won't believe the Amstel, either.

Is there a team out there that could use Amar'e has a number 1 option on offense?

If he's a number 1 option and gets starter's minutes, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he can still average 22-24 PPG with 50% shooting and maybe 7-8 RPG. Of course, this will be before he goes down with an injury.

it didnt work out the last two years, but amare should be respected for what he did here

he put NY back on the map, which led to melo here, which led to tyson here...a lot of FAs said no to NY (remember Bosh not even showing up to the FA meeting on time) but he accepted the challenge. thanks for everything amare!

Poem by: Amar'e Stoudemire
NY NY what a beautiful city
A place where you can hang out with Anna, JayZ & Diddy

Its a place absent of excuses and patience
If your smart, you can meet leaders of every nation

NY NY big city of dreams
Everything in NY isnt always what it seems

In the land where the jungle is concrete
The money flows Dow Jones and Wall Street

Home of #STATcity and the #Knickstape Orginator,
Shalom to all my fans, Salute to all my haters.

Peace and Love
Amar'e Carsares Stoudemire Sr.

My sources say Amare would never complement Dirk on the court, and Dirk would never complement Amare on anything in life...
