The courtship rituals of the draft process are a little funny.

I have a body to help me make the offensive player struggle. I also have the will to do it. So it’s like a challenge to me to do it, so defensively I think I just have to develop my body, to go in the weight room and be ready to go against the most physical players. But I think with my skills, I can do it easily.”

“I’m ready to go on the court and compete,” he added. “In Europe, it’s very different …But I will trust the process, go to the gym and work on my game. And I’m sure, with the will I have and the work ethic I have, I will go and in a short time I will be better. And better and better.”

Knicks have been an above average defensive team only once since 2001...they've been out of the bottom 10 only 5 times

KP and Frank is a good defensive base to have when trying to build a team that can possibly contend in the future

That's why i've been on the Frank train. KP shutting down the interior, Frank causing havoc on the perimeter. Both unselfish with high bball IQs. Will be a huge breath of fresh air.

build a team with high IQ ball players that are unselfish, versatile, and can play both ways and the wins will eventually come

Frank could potentially guard 1-3, and his offense can be developed...he can be the type of player that is extremely valuable in the NBA

If we got Frank and managed to swing a deal for Rubio, Frank could play off the ball and cut his teeth as a secondary ballhandler. It would take a lot of pressure off of him, as he could mainly concentrate on spot ups (where he was deadly this year), and just making smart reads in the system.

We have a chance to develop him the right way, and I think his natural talents/inclinations are in line with the right way to play.

Im in for Frank.
The potential is far too intriguing. 6'5 18 year old with 7'1 wingspan showing the poise, tenacity and work ethic to succeed is great.
Problem is the PG position is tough in the NBA. Dante Exum had the same profile going into the draft and hes yet to prove anything.
Its really a high risk high reward play - which in this NBA you have to take those chances.

I'm curious to see what other moves management pulls off. I dont see how the same team comes back next year and other than their interest in trading Melo, I have no idea who else is on the block and who they might be targeting

If Cuban wants to trade 9 for 8 after we picked Nik who would you want from the Mavs to make it work say they get Monk or DSJ?

Finally, people are joining in the Frank to the Knicks bandwagon, I was trying to get yall on this bandwagon for the last five months, he is the right pick at the #8 spot, he is gonna be a steal.

OH It's true, it's DAMN true!
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

what I like about Frank is that if he's not a good enough penetrator or creator to be a PG, then he can easily just slide over to the 2 and be more of a secondary ball handler and creator

he has the size to play either guard spot

Btw, its interesting how Mavs, indeed, are just flat out showing everyone how they loooove Frank..

One of their reporters just said they have him higher than Monk and DSJ.

Are they trying to fool the Knicks into taking him?

I don't see how they could. The Knicks are in front of them in line, they can choose whoever they want that's left over. I'm not sure how knowing what someone wants behind you affects what you want at all.

“Our owner, at the time when I left [Cleveland in 2010], decided to put out an article that we all know about, where he completely … disrespected not only me as an individual, but disrespected my name,” James said in the video. “When I decided to go back … my mom and wife were like, ‘I ain’t with that.’”

1. he likes tall guards.
2. He said in his press conference the most pressing issue is perimeter def. Frank is potentially the best perimeter defender in this draft.

Like it or not the Knicks are drafting Frank. Don't hate it and Don't love it.

This, but oh boy do I love it.
