KP isn't a great defender at the 5 spot either... He blocks shots, but he doesn't have the girth to hold in the post yet and he doesn't rebound like a center should either. Defensively his best position is exactly where we've been playing him, at the 4. I think everyone is just really enamored with moving him to the 5, but if we do play that space and pace style of game, then that means we'd have shooters/a SF type playing the PF position. I think that only works with a Steven Adams/Carmelo type pairing.... With KP at the 5, we'd still need that bruiser type next to him.
