Slow down. Wasn’t AD a guard that had a late growth spurt? Mitch doesn’t have his all around skill and abilities. Great athlete with a high motor is where the similarities end.

Um No.. Carter is not a better shot blocker than Mitchell all around. When carter starts blocking in space as well as mitchell....send me the email.

Coach should have called timeout and cut Hicks right there. Take that uniform off and get the F outta here.

A frontcourt of KP, Knox, and Mitchell is absolutely insane as far as potential when full developed.

Now let's hope that player development is on point to make guys like Frank, Knox, and Mitchell (even KP) reach their potential

They’re comparable. My point is that it’s not as clear cut as was stated. Mitch is a monster that is doing this off of raw athleticism and hustle. Wendell is more developed in his reads and IQ imo.

Let Mitch play until he fouls out from day 1 Fiz, you know you want to...

Trier might just be coachable, you know he heard it after that first game and since he's legit looked for his team-mates in spots. He's still score first & score second, but look for my team-mates seems to have moved from 4th on the list to 3rd in just these few games. If he's that coachable in the GL he could find himself getting some looks from the bench by season's end.

This is what we saw from Knox without a PG against the Lakers until he got hot from 3, but that's ok. He's still young, his handle is still improving, and his shot isn't falling as automatically as it has the form to in time. He's gunna struggle more with Trier as his PG than he is with Frank as a rookie, and that's ok.

What I didn't like was him fading out of it about when he was getting frustrated, but he kept bringing himself back into it & trying to be aggressive...which is good...and that pass to Mitch was a thing of beauty.

*sigh* I remember those first two SL games before France made it to the WC finals & we had to let Frank "rest"...

• You can tell they missed Frank's experience and Defense.

• Knox looked tired but against that ELITE Boston Defense, he STILL managed to put up 14 points!

• Mitchell ripped that Boston Frontcourt to SHREDS!!!

I said MRob can start. I understand why he wouldn't, but learning on the job should be what this year is about for our kids so it doesn't really matter how ready he is.

He just needs to grab a bag of popcorn and watch old Rodman tapes

Its not clear cut to you maybe. To me, when I see mitch I see the most talented/natural Shot Blocker in the Class.

at least we have something to be hopeful about in Mitchell Robinson

He has been way better than I expected him to be, and that's without playing any organized basketball in a long time. I hope he responds well to fizdale

Knox's stamina will benefit from Fiz's emphasis on being in top game shape

Disappointing game from Knox tonight. He didn't have the intensity he had in the first 3 games they played. He didn't really defend or rebound and most surprisingly wasn't as explosive towards the rim. You could tell in the second half he was pretty gassed.

That's what makes what Robinson did so amazing. He was non stop energy and effort all game. Like every game there's moments you can see that he hasn't played ball in a while but there's so much to like about these two. Fiz is got two talented balls of clay to mold as he sees fit.

Weirdest thing about this game was we didn't really run any plays at all. Not sure if that's because we had Trier running point or not but we didn't even really run PNR. I also don't need to see anymore of Kornet, Hicks, and Dotson. They're not NBA players and can go to Europe now.

They are at different stages of development, but completely different in terms of physical talents. Mitch is an A+ specimen that will have close to an unprecedented combination of strength, agility and speed not seen before after his body matures. His frame is shocking and will become a wall of muscle coming at shooters. Scary.
