Kanter getting scapegoated somehow again?

Take a look at the Knicks shot selection then get back on this.

I may want Kanter gone but to scapegoat him is ridiculous.

This **** ain’t his fault.

I blame the front office

I credit the front office for putting together a great tanking team this past offseason

Nobody's scapegoating Kanter

Last I checked, we suck with or without him

Pointing out that he sucks isn't scapegoating him. Saying he's the only reason we suck and without him we'd be good would be scapegoating him. You don't have to be the only problem to be a problem. Everybody sucks, just some guys are younger and therefore have the potential to not suck when we try to compete
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

I cant blame the FO for throwing all these garbo at Fiz; Pills might have expected that Fiz could turn schit into gold.

Wait, isn't it supposed to be the future core: Frank, Knox, Dotson, Burke, Robinson, Vonleh, Mudiay, Trier, Hardaway that Uncle Fix has to develop and/or rehabilitate? This kind of future core is going nowhere.

The roster is bad, but the offense looks like a pick up game comprised of 5 guys who've never played together. Fizdale isnt the guy...and im rarely a blame the coach type of fan. The Knicks shot selection is really bad.

Some of them could be for the future and some of them could be trade pieces.

There are only 3 for keeps in my book: Knox, Robinson, Vonleh. All the rest are undevelopable for different reasons.

Trier hasn't been looking to great since he came back. I think he's being d'ed up better plus his timing looks off.

That certain someone may not be playing this season at all :) And who knows how he will play post injury. I don't think even he himself knows it. A 7"3 guy with an outside game post ACL is unchartered territory. Sabonis, the father, had knee issues, but not ACL tear..

Cores aren't a season by season thing. You can't talk about the core of the team without factoring in KP, which changes the calculus of how the others are evaluated. Their roles around him are different than their roles without him.

For exactly this reason, I would hope he returns to full content training and some games with limited minutes already this season. I agree completely.

I don’t know why posters like to act like every player has to be smiling all the time. Let’s promote someone at your job over you; someone who you are more skilled than at the moment and see how you feel about it. Kanter isn’t a cancer and he isn’t wrong for having personal goals at the start of the season. He wanted to be an allstar. Pills need to just let the man go rather than have him suffer through this rebuild. Yeah

Because fans over the years, have developed this mentality that players are just commodities and that's it. Never understanding that these guys do have livelihoods, family and pride. I don't blame Kanter for feeling the way he's feeling, I would feel the same way. F*ck what a fan thinks!

Kanter knew what he was getting into when he picked up his option. Besides he's the primary reason why he'll never be an all-star, and a part of why the team isn't winning so really he can only blame himself.

But he does have the power to end this. Ask for the buyout. Really so simple.

Exactly, fans like this are the type to say things like Frank should’ve played Christmas Day because his mom flew from France and to hell with Mudiay Burke and the work they put in over the summer. They will tell you Larry Holmes should’ve just let Ali win, even though Ali and his camp made the wrong decision to accept the fight in the first place.

Kornet has outplayed him the past 2 games, straight up. He could try to stop sulking and win his spot back instead of playing like garbage and crying.

I hear you and agree(to a certain extent), buuuuttttt....

Kanter picked up his player option and stayed here. He could have simply left.
