Max Payne...played by Mark Wahlberg

Max Pyne...played by Kristaps Porzingis.

Sucks for him and Dallas. I don't want to see him hurt.

The dude is one of those haters who thinks his job is to call out haters, but he does it so much that he’s the down low hater. It’s one big projection.

This is a strawman logical fallacy. He claims we fans did something we don't do, then he attacks that, and there's no way we can defend what he attacks. Except, the error is that nobody here wishes KP gets injured. We're just saying he does get injured and isn't worth that contract. Jeez, Bondy. F U

So happy we're not the one paying that contract.

If Dallas gave us nothing at all we still win the trade. The picks and Timmehs contract were the whipped cream and cherry on top.

There is nothing filling inside of that whipped cream and cherry but so what, how satisfied do you think Dallas feels right now?

Phil was right, maybe not about a whole lot but he was right about Porzingis.

I don't like it when a beat reporter trolls like that.

I don't wish for injury.

I'm pretty happy though when that injured player is not under a max contract with the Knicks though.

Considering I predicted KP would not have a long career due to his physical issues I have no shame about saying I was right.

But that does not mean I wished it upon KP.

BIG FCKING DIFFERENCE BONDY YOU TROLL

So unprofessional. Yeah there are **** out there but the vast majority of the fanbase isn't hoping he gets hurt. Don't know what the **** is wrong with that guy. Worst thing I've ever heard him say. KP wanted out. Move on and actually cover the team. That's your job.

Yep. All sports fans know what goes around comes around. No one wishes injury on another team’s players.

It’s just an easy social media white knight win for this guy.

Like if i said “i know everyone thinks the glaciers melting is super cool and fun but, me, I’m for the environment!”

I think that’s called a “strawman”.
I dunno.

Wasn't so much wishing injury on him. Though, he's a pos with a rape case so... yea... I don't really feel bad for him.

But it was about the fact that we traded him because we questioned his durability. It's only natural to feel a little better that we aren't going to try to build around a guy who will miss 2 out every 3 games.

Is it morally acceptable to wish unemployment on a sports writer?

He should be back in time for whenever next season starts but it’s certainly very worrying that he’s had injuries to both his knees like this. Melo was much older when he tore his meniscus and that pretty much ended his career as a star player. It’s a shame cuz it looked like KP really turned the corner and was becoming a true star. They’re gonna need to do some serious load management to keep him upright.

Melo played a long time on an injured leg just so he could get his votes to attend the ASG. He probably would not have gone into decline as much if he had done the right thing and gotten surgery promptly and healed up instead of feeding his vanity

Personally I’m far more disgusted about his giving up on D than I am that he asked out or bluffed or whatever that was.

And I’d say that the issue of whether the Knicks got good value as measured by the trade itself — at the time of the trade — is the real issue. Cuban was committed to Maxing a guy coming off an ACL tear who hadn’t played a game. That was always a big factor in determining what was reasonable value. Not a ton of teams would do that and give up picks, is my guess.

So Bondy yeah is Straw Manning.

Phil was right, maybe not about a whole lot but he was right about Porzingis.

The deciding factor could really come if KP cannot play and Dallas is in the lottery. Those picks can become valuable due to him being out.

It is completely acceptable, provided you don't also wish he gets a torn ACL or achilles.

It's not a question of getting back in time - it's also a matter of how much he can play, and at what level, due to new injuries. His ass is glass.
