Isn't it interesting how Trump files lawsuits because he wants to stop the counting of ballots in states he has a lead but not stop the count in ones he's behind....it's almost as if he's trying to meddle in the election so it isn't fair....hmm

Sure. It's just math now. 100,000+ margin is not open to dispute or demands for recount. Trump will get nowhere trying to contest PA

Yeah but that is still based on an assumption that Joe is going to get all 900K of those votes. We gotta wait and see

No, it was based on the assumption they were actually close to 80% on those votes

And this should officially end the Democratic strategy of trying to turn Republican voters. There were **** Senators that ran ahead of Trump despite clinging to his nuts, enabling his criminal behavior and voting to AQUIT him of an obvious **** crime! The only lesson the Republican Party will learn from this is that next time they need to select a racist, facist, authoritarian prick who isn’t on twitter as much. Democrats need to focus on a turnout game and activating new voters. **** this turning Republicans bull.

Chuck **** Schumer needs to step down as minority leader. I’m not a fan of needlessly **** on Democrats, but he dropped the **** ball big time. He had so many shots at thing and he completely **** the bed. Biden might win but this was not a good result for Democrats. It took the combined force of historic voter turnout, the Republicans publicly speaking out against their own party, tons of money from Bloomberg to narrowly beat Trump. Democrats in the house absolutely under performed. DNC, DCCC, DNSC all need to be fired and cleaned out because they have no **** clue what they’re doing. I remember so many grassroots organizations saying that the DNC needs to invest in communities and put boots on the ground instead instead of just dropping in 2 months before elections. They need to heavily invest in African American and Latino outreach and figure out a strategy to actually reach rural voters or else forever lose the Senate.

This was 99% already baked in. Everything you and Jremi are saying is true, but that needs to start now for 2022, then 2024. The DNC and affiliations just don't know to compete. But neither did the Never Trumpers like the Lincoln Project. They all failed. Maybe, just maybe, if a real ground operation was launched as soon as Biden was clearly going to cinch the nomination, then possibly you could have grabbed enough votes to get a better result, but that ship sailed over half a year ago IMO.

I still think the major takeaway is how Americans are willing to roll with fascism. So there better be operatives who understand how to fight Nazism, because it is here and it is entrenched and it is not going away.

The Never Trumpers were always going to work on the margins, they would have little effect on the house seats if they helped cut down Trumps margins in the suburbs and rural areas then they served their purpose. They can **** off somewhere. The DNC should have been on the ground 4 years ago. Trust me when I tell you there are organizations on key swing states who are already doing the work who just need some money. I was willing to see where the strategy would lead but it seems they just blew record fundraising on consultants and ads instead of investing in outreach to latino and African American communities. For example, people are surprised that Trump did so well with latino voters in Florida but to their credit his campaign has been reaching out and courting them for the past 4 years. They invested in advertising, had boots on the ground and ran candidates that offered zero substance but were well known in their communities.

And your point is right, you can’t reason with Nazis so you have to depend on activating voters and new voters. Obama was the EXCEPTION that was able to turn Ohio, Iowa and Florida blue not the rule. This **** was literally carrying the whole party on his back. 2020 was even MORE PARTISAN after covid, 230000 dead, impeachment, tanking economy and the President of the United States being **** sued for RAPE.

The Obama era is no longer related to the present. We've reached an impasse. Republicans only strayed to Biden by around 5% and many of those still voted down the rest of the GOP ticket. They are not going to flip to the Democrats after this. The country is split now. It is not changing soon

P.S. Point, you're right. You'll have to groom new voters and build a new base on the Democratic side. Conversion therapy is not going to work that well for the next few cycles. The antidote really is only to be found by increasing your registrations and continuing to get out the vote.

That’s the point, the Democrats need to figure out how to turn out and engage new voters. No more trying to flip Republicans strategy. If there’s one thing that Trump proves true, turning out your base is an effective strategy.

Good point!

With Trump out of the way, Senators would be able to vote their conscience instead of being fearful of a Trump backlash.

Imagine an unfiltered Trump getting in yo ass. I dont believe for a second that citizen trump will be quiet or that he wont have an influence on what his party does.

This is the realest isht right here. Trump has 38% (or whatever it is) of the country believing and following whatever he says or whatever idea he pushes, without any critical examination or thought. There's zero chance he walks away from all that adulation.

He's going to pardon everyone, maybe even himself somehow, get comfortable somewhere, and then wile out with no checks or a modicum of restraint for the next four years, roiling politics from the outside and invigorating the 38%, before running again in 2024 (or having one of his sons run as his proxy).

Check out my last sentence. Donald Trump is and has always been about Donald Trump. Once the legal problems they couldn't bring while he was in office start coming in, he'll be pretty ineffective. Even more so when/if he goes to prison.

Only in our wildest dreams will Trump be held accountable for his bull. I dont trust the dems to do anything to him other than make a few speeches about how evil he is then move on.

Just as a point of reference Republicans in Congress are all disingenuous hacks. Except for Mitch McConnell, he knows he’s a piece of **** and owns the villain role. John James 2000% kissed Trump’s ass and would have been another Trump acolyte. Also the fact that he was ducking the debate Peters because he’d have to defend his position on healthcare is weak.

to my understanding I think the lawsuits are for them to temporarily stop the counting until they can have there people verify they are legit. I don't believe he has any leg to stand on and states I don't believe have to comply unless the lawsuit is successful but I don't think the lawsuits are just to stop counting. Just wanted to clear that up.

Just over 122k ballots to count with a 44k lead for Trump in GA but these remaining ballots have been going to Biden at a 75% rate so it's possible to catch up because he needs 68% of the rest to do it..... hmmmm so close but will the Rep Gov meddle like he did his own election?
