Are starters on a contender. Let's draft some more :-D

I wouldn't complain about signing one either...that Gary Trent Jr kid, for example

The issue with Obi is that I don’t think we are running many plays right now. I don’t expect that to come until next season. Right now it seems like we are focused on effort, defense, culture and seeing what each player is good at.

From now on, when Knicks players get props on Twitter, we have to ask "But what about F&O"? (Farbod & Ohm)

Blazers love notwithstanding, the Knicks have GOT to start bringing in guys like that. Trent would be a great addition.

Hopefully just a matter of time and work before Rj's late game catches up to his first half showing.

You can argue that with Quickley his deep shooting and touch with the crazy floater sets him apart from other young points. If you look at Ja's and Fox's 3 ball, it's a slight weakness. Definitely exciting to have him.

Mitch maybe going through some doldrums or conditioning. He's not as springy.

RJ and IQ !!!

even Randle is growing on me if he can hit continue hitting 3's. still prefer to play w/ a stretch-4 tho, a la Utah

Imma just tell myself we draft IQ at 8, just like we drafted Mitch at 9

Season's been pretty fun so far

Just a bit frustrating seeing how we could be much better

But RJ playing more consistent, Randle having a career year, Mitch progressing, and Quick breaking out has been really enjoyable

And the Mavs starting off slow is a nice bonus.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

And I think that's fine.

He doesn't have a role on the team with his current skill set. The pace the team plays at isn't ideal for him either.

He will need to work on his shot and defense in the off-season. Plenty of players have had break-out 2nd or 3rd years.

Until then, I'll live with the results as long as shows effort.

I would be thrilled to settle for Trent, Jared Butler & Ziaire Williams...but yeah, Cade, Kuminga & GTJ would be insane.

So, have the Knicks exceeded where the Nets were at last year with their "Awesome Young Core?"

Because RJ, Mitch and IQ seem about as good as LaVert, Allen and Harris.

Nets still had a Dinwiddie
Knicks have improved Randle, who is seen more as a vet.

Obi and Know aren't probably seen as all that great, but they possess some skill.

Wash?
Obviously there's a Dolan factor to overcome, so the Knicks "Young Core" probably has to be excessively better than what the Nets had.

Successful draft next year fixes that.

my complaints:

1) Elf, Rivers, Bullock w/ Knox getting a DNP

2) Thibs should pull the starters when the game is clearly over. just gonna wear them out by seasons end

Seeing Kenny Atkinson got me a little sad, but Thibs has still been great overall and has established the right culture it seems
