This is the easiest Knicks team to get behind since the 2012/13 squad. This team stands for something, have an identity.
Knicks fan since 1991

I can’t name them!
I'll give it a shot. Guys that I'm genuinely scared for our defense if they have the ball down the stretch of a close game.
- Kyrie Irving
- Jimmy Butler
- Jrue Holiday
- Luka Doncic
- Steph Curry
I think JB is towards the top of that list.
When OG plays you don't have to be as scared.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Look at how Brunson uses his arm to create space and then watch his release and follow through.

I said in the GT to not be surprised if Deuce becomes our starting SG
He's the perfect fit next to Brunson that we wanted Grimes to be
Once OG is back, Deuce is better suited to provide offensive and defensive punch off the bench. I like things as is for now.

That’s a preference not a reason
Why?

OT but what’s been so great about Kevin Durant as a free agent or addition though? He won with a team that already won and has been not quite incredible in his team impact during his other stops.
Woj simplistic take. KD is not as good as his numbers, sorry.

Re: PG: Deuce McBrunson School Curry's Kids
Besides the IQ trade yielding time to Deuce, it also yielded PG duties to Hart. That’s working really well.

Obviously Josh Hart and Deuce can't keep playing 46-48 mins, that can't be your ace move Thibs
Just grateful we have 2 days rest... but damn altitude, and damn I really wanna see our team defense (with OG) against heavyweights like the Nuggets

Re: PG: Deuce McBrunson School Curry's Kids
They said at the end of the game on the ESPN broadcast that Knicks have 11 wire to wire wins this season, most in the NBA and if my math is correct with 41 wins so far that means more than 25% of their wins this season have been wire to wire wins. That seems significant.
Also in the league there are only two others teams that have a better offensive rating(Knicks #13), defensive rating(Knicks #8) and net rating(Knicks #6) than the Knicks, the two teams are the Celtic and Thunder. This also seems significant.
To be clear the Nuggets have a better offense and slightly worse defense but a better net rating than the Knicks and are currently one spot ahead of the Knicks on that net rating list.
The amount of games missed by major contributors and still to have these rankings is remarkable.

If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Odds just went up that we'll face the Magic with home court advantage. Me likey
Me don't likey. They seem to play us well and Cole Anthony becomes a good player against us too.
No, he doesn't. He literally had 1 good game against the Knicks 2.5 years ago, and that's it. It's only Clyde that keeps talking about that game, messing with people's perception.

Felton <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Brunson
Prigioni < McBride
Shump <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< OG
JR << Donte
Tyson < Mitch
Amare <<< Hart
Novak << Bojan
Copeland < Achiuwa
Richardson < Burks
coaches Kidd, Sheed and Kurt we have it as assistants: Bryant, Brunson and Harrington
if Randle is our Melo than we have a much better team than 2012-2013

Unless you trade Quickley and maybe even Grimes... this game NEVER happens. That trade will always be to me: Quickley and Barrett for OG, Precious and Deuce (getting minutes). Kudos to the Knicks FO and Thibs for not only recognizing the talent but also locking him in long term at the cheap which is what Dallas had the chance to do with Brunson- to a lesser degree

Thibs learning how to play chess.
Rolling out and sticking with that starting lineup was genius and ballsy.
