I thought it was a bit of an overpay but it was an overpay I was willing to make to keep the cohesion going. But safe to say he’s earned every penny and then some. We may say the same about Mikal when it’s all said and done

Rondo was always my favorite PG and one of my favorite players ever. He famously wore the headband upside down every night until the NBA banned it. Mostly because the league hated him. So then he quit wearing the headband all together just because he’s a rebellious a-hole. Hart is the first player I’ve really noticed since then who ALWAYS wears that sumbitch upside down night in and night out. Maybe someone else out there does but I’ve never noticed it other than him. Unsure if the ban got lifted since then. But just for that alone Hart is my guy for carrying on the legacy of sticking it to them. Then on top of that he’s a dawg and nightly trip dub threat.

I have been talking about a healthy bench from day one. When you lunatics were crying about every single player on the team, I was crying about the HC and needing a healthy bench. Rondo was one of my favorite players despite being a Celtic - quite an accomplishment. I love players who impact winning unconventionally, like Hart or Rondo. Actually that's not always true - I find Draymond to be mostly annoying, but you get my point. Your paragraph on headband was interesting.

This team needs the Mitch effect on defense. Imagine rolling out this lineup for like 20-25 minutes a game

C Mitchell Robinson
PF OG/KAT (for like 5-10 minutes at 4 w/ remaining time all at 5)
SF Hart
SG Bridges
PG Brunson

That lineup is BETTER defensively than last years team post OG....

With that true rim protecting 5 this team I believe can beat anyone including Cavs Celts and Thunder

Wins don't only count against the best in the league. ALL wins count, against both good AND bad teams. And home court advantage matters when teams win the most of their 82 games -- again, against both good AND bad teams.

After decades of dysfunction, we finally have a competent front office, a consistent coach, a team loaded with (possibly) multiple all-stars and (maybe) an MVP. We're a top 3 team in the east and finally an elite and respectable team in all of the NBA. That's worth celebrating.

Sure, we're beating teams we're supposed to beat. However, that's all part of the process. Don't discount it.
