Okay but how do you explain Precious and McBride playing less than last year?
McBride was averaging 29 mpg last three months of the season after trades
Precious was averaging 27 mpg during the same time.

They both already proved very capable players. They had pretty decent playoffs when called upon as well.

Precious is averaging 14.5 mpg in January this year. While KAT is playing 40+ mpg on back to backs. Can’t excuse the lack of talent when you are not playing the proven talent that you have.

But this year we have Towns and Bridges. But I agree that Precious should play more. I believe that Deuce will get his minutes once he gets his game legs back. I like Shamet too, but again, he's coming off an injury and needs to get his game legs back.

I would have less objections if those guys were playing their normal minutes and the bench ended up settling the remaining. But that is obviously not the case. Thibs is in a kamikaze mission here. Towns, a center with extensive injury history, is averaging highest career minutes since his third season. He was much younger than now obviously. What could go wrong with that?

And Bridges is getting 2 mpg more than any point in his career. That 38.8 mpg will be reduced to 0 mpg if Thibs insists on this insane quest.

Thibs needs to go. Starters may be dead by the end of the season. McBride and Achiuwa need to see more minutes, Kolek needs to get some love, and I refuse to believe Huckporti is worse than Sims.

Why don't you find a better replacement than just saying Thibs got to go. Maybe we should rehire Frazier since he didn't overuse his players Lol

Thibs is fake hustle. Period. Uses his starters to inflate regular season wins. Can't beat teams over .500 with any consistency. Weak playoff performances. Leaves bodies in his wake everywhere he goes.

And he'll be 67 tomorrow.

Second oldest coach in the league by far, and the oldest isn't actively coaching because he suffered a stroke 2 months ago.

that coach is arguably the greatest to ever do it while leading the franchise to multiple rings. he should have his ride into the sunset.

thibs is a terrorist who is over staying his welcome. need to drop him off at the retirement home.

3rd and 4th oldest are Carlisle and Rivers, and much like Pop, we know why they're still employed. Regardless of how good they are now, It's worked with them in the past if you choose to believe.

It's never worked with Thibs, and yet the Knicks handle him like a championship-proven commodity.

And the 3 year extension that takes him through his 70th birthday hasn't even started yet.

And it locks him in with this cores prime.

We truly are a cursed franchise. Need to feed green arrow some sacrifices to lift it.

They beat the mighty Sixers last night, yet fans are still whining. The problem is OG has been dogging it ever since he got his max. I would not let him rest until he does his part of the scoring so the other non max players don't have to cover his ***.

Ummm....no. OG just doesn't have a bag. He can barely dribble. Can't go up in traffic without getting stripped. No real touch around the basket. He moves like he's stuck in quicksand on offense. Bridges is the third option making 22mil for now. Our starting five is not the problem at all. They seem to struggle a lot in the 4th quarter for some reason though, I wonder why that is.

Yet fans has issues with Mikal's release looking broken as a problem but gives OG a pass on everything. It doesn't make sense to me.

Rather have both IQ and RJ back.

People are stupid. I don't see any correlation. RJ/IQ are not here anymore and I love the team we have. The issue I have is obviously with the HC but, whatever people think, we just need a 9 man rotation and that means using the bench at least 20mpg longer than we do. I suppose we will be waiting for Mitch before that happens. In the meantime I can root for a winning team doing historic things and pray we stay healthy long term.
